I missed to pay my TNEB bill for the month of Jun, 2020.Last date to pay is July 20, 2020. When I checked on Aug 2 my bill was charged with BPSC (Belated Payment Surcharges) and RCFEES (Reconnection Charges) of Rs.100. Till today I didn't have service disconnection but I am automatically billed with Reconnection Fees (There is no disconnection/reconnection happened) because I missed only one payment. I am paying few more cards online to avoid going into EB office for my relatives. There is no clarification provided from TNEB when I checked online consumer complaints. No one available to pickup a call suggested by TNEB CUS Care.
