Tamil Nadu Electricity Board [TNEB] — Meter is not working | |
My house meeter is not working since Oct 2020. I raised my first complaint at Manapakkam EB Office, Chennai. But after two weeks, they said, the complaint letter is missed. Gave complaints twice again in person at branch. Meeter is not replaced. So I raised complaints tnebnet website itself. But the complaints are closed by stating "Person will check". But no one cam e and fixed it. Every time the EB bill was generated. On enquiring about EB bills, "average of last two cycles is used to generate the bill". But this time, May 2019 bill is put which is Rs.2704. We do not use electricity of that much since we are new tenant from Nov 2019 only. Please help to replace the eb meeter. I spoke to AE of Manapakkam EB and AEE of Ramapuram sub division. Their behaviour is also not good when I asked the status of complaints too. I have followed up with them more than 2 months. But they are not responding properly. So I dropped the follow up and registering here.
