I am residing in b-1 subbam apartments no.5 iii main road, united india colony kodambakkam along with my aged mother who is 85 years old.
I have been paying my eb bills on time without delay until this month.
My current bill was due on 16th may and i by oversight i did not make the payment for that and my wife called me up to inform that my eb service has been disconnected without any intimation. I have a security deposit amount of rs. 11400 available in my account and i see that this high handedness of eb authorities is totally not justified during this peak summer time and for a delay of 1 day they have disconnected my facility and after making online payment and arguing with the eb office in kodambakkam i got my connection restored @ 8.00 pm.
If there was a medical emergency for my aged mother who is responsible...??
Why is the need for a deposit for nearly rs. 12000 when my bill due is less than half the amount and they come and disconnect the power..
I would like to have a complete refund of my deposit under these circumstance.
