Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation [TNSTC] — Is luggage charges required to carry 10 school text book by bus

I am a regular traveller from tirupattur to uthangarai daily for last 1 year.

Today, I.e 20.04.2022, as usual I boarded a vellore bus @5.30 pm in uthangarai .Bus no is TN23N2563.

After 5 mins I got ticket for tirupattur by giving exact ticket charge - Rs 25/- ( one twenty rupee note and one 5 rupee coin).

I was carrying 10 school textbooks along with my backpack. To my utter shock, on seeing those books bus conductor was asking luggage charge for those 10 books, which was extremely shocking and barbaric.

At first, I politely asked conductor, sir why are u asking luggage charges for these few books .

But he threatened me buy luggage charges.

Sorry sir I can't and then I was trying to put those books in my backpack.
On seeing this, he again insisted me to buy luggage charge, while doing so..I can't zip the bag completely .

He again threatened me and said, i[censored] can't zip ur bag completely and if those book is visible frm your bag..u have to buy luggage charges and he kept staring at me fr 3 mins.

I was traveling in TN govt owned buses for last 20 yrs and I never saw this kind of atrocious, inhuman behavior and worst service from TNSTC.

I strongly condemn this act and take necessary action.

1.What parameters is required to buy luggage charges.? Like minimum kilograms of luggage and size of luggage.
