Prince village phase1 is a residential apartment complex in elaya street, tondiarpet, comprising of 19 blocks and 582 flats. The common area power consumption for residential flats comes under LA1A once the building construction is over. PRINCE FOUNDATIONS, the builder has completed their construction activity.. Even though most of the residents have moved in and started paying their property tax with the government and maintenance charges with the association, the tariff plan was reconverted quite inadvertently from LA1A to LM51 on from 4th march 2014 bringing it under the purview of temporary connection instead of domestic permanent connection. Due to this, the prince village phase1 owner’s welfare association is incurring heavy loss on account of enhanced payment of tariff for common area power usage. Sir, in view of the rules given in tneb's own website, the tariff change effected on 04.03.2014 from LA1A to LM51 shortly before taking over by the resident’ association from the Builder, M/s Prince Foundations has resulted in monetary loss to the residents of prince village phase 1. No construction activity is taking place in PV phase 1 and there isn’t any commercial establishment inside this multi tenements premises.
Reversion of the tariff plan from LM51 to LA1A as charged earlier from 15.08.2013 to 3.3.2014 must be adhered immediately and refund of the excess amount collected from 4th march 2014 must also be processed and handed over to the resident's association at the earliest.
