I am writing this with really numb hands and feet not because of my inability but due to your dampening efficacy. I decided to join this company for the name TATA associated with Mr. Ratan Tata sir but all in vain. The recruitment process of TCS has really created havoc in my life and not only mine, during this process I came across many candidates who have been tortured, mentally dragged to a state of repent, where anyone will think 1000times before applying for TCS (and not counting the attrition rate but a definite proof that why people are opting to leave). The BGC process might be good for you but it is definitely very scary for many, I had every other document for my last 2 company and even all the documents mention in ANNEXURE 2 of TCS offer of employment and provided everything mentioned in Annexure for my 3rd last company but what I lagged was bank statements: Here is another part to that, statements were provided for the 3rd last organization too but it was for some months and not for whole duration. It is OK from your side to say NO as you have all the power to, but you should have said NO within 1-1.5 months and revoked the offer then and there and surely not in the end when the person is neither eligible for his present employer as he was released nor TCS.
It is not the case that this is my first company change, I have been working happily from last 4 years and worked in 2 different organization in these years. It is not end of the road for me, but yes, I am facing some issues due to the behaviour of TCS and their BGC team, as now the organization I applied for are questioning my gap period between current employer and joining of TCS. So, WHAT SHOULD I ANSWER THEM, will anyone of you help me there: NO, why would you? and why to expect from a team who are so overly occupied that they don’t have time to acknowledge the mails, calls or any medium of communication. I have other organizations to apply to where they would check my calibre and strength and would be fine with all the documents I presented and would not only totally depend on one part of document which they have issue with or candidate lagged.
. Please update your ANNEXURE too mention it clearly that other than EXP letter/offer letter/relieving letter, SAL SLIPS: BANK STATEMENTS are also necessary even if it was a small company and whether you worked in that lately or 5yrs back or 7yrs back.
