This is regarding how I was terminated after working for close to a year with Sunshine TCS, Goregaon, Mumbai now without being informed and having a valid reason/proof/documents for absence at work. I had informed the team leader(in hierarchy) prior and did I take leave for a major health concern for which I needed to be treated immediately. I have a cyst in my brain for which I took leaves in February and then returned to resume work. I also agreed to forego the salary for that period as they did not approve my leaves. I discussed with the HR and a manager and was assured and asked to submit necessary paperwork and documents which I did.
I resumed work as usual, but then within the next two weeks my headaches resumed and didn't want to take risks of a tumor developing. I left immediately for Jaipur where I am undertaking the necessary treatment and informed my team leader with all the details. I kept whoever I could abreast.On returning within a week I was informed that I had been termed absconded and my ultimatix ID/Password revoked and dropped. They kept insisting I absconded which I did not. On asking for a reason I was given none and made to wait after which they took my ID card away. I am left in a lurch because just the previous month I received a call from TATA personal loan and took a hefty loan and now they fail to give me any reason even though I have all the required documents and medical reports and bills. My PF too remains to be unsolved. I was also denied meeting the ethics department.
I really heed answers here ASAP. I wished to serve a notice period or a resignation, both of which were denied. Where else can I complain though? I did not abscond. I had informed the people who should have been, Is greed to be on LWP, couldn't contact HR, was denied resignation nothing at all.
I want answers because I have been thrown off balance as I was extremely sincere on working there. I assume taking care of one's health too is a priority and was encouraged to do so by some members of the TCS team as well. They need to give reasons, follow protocols, exit interview and documentation. TCS is not your round the block workplace.. Hence, I need an explanation for my termination without any notice. And no, I didn't abscond. If I had I would not have gone back to work sigh proper reports and documents. Was this information helpful? |
