    To,

    Customer care/ Cancellation dept - Tata Photon.

    I have called up Tata Photon customer services :[protected] multiple times in order to cancel the connection number : [protected] since June 2012. I have been assigned many request numbers but services were not cancelled. Few of the previous request numbers were :[protected],[protected], 32306423

    This connection was being used by one of our relative. Due to some financial problems, she was not able to pay the bills. Due to non payments of bills the matter went into litigation. Since the connection was on my name , Tata Photon's collection people and lawyer told me to settle the full and final bill at earliest and services will be cancelled. I made the full and final payment of Rs 2260.00 as on June 05' 2012. The connection was already deactivated due to non payment of bills. I was assured by collection people that services will be cancelled on payment of due bill.

    since I paid the bills, I am continuously following up with their customer care department to get the cancellation
    confirmation. However everyday I get calls from their retention department daily to switch to lower rental plan. I have told them so many times that services should be cancelled when I have paid the full and final settlement.

    There is zero data usage and I am not using the connection, still their billing department billed me for an amount of Rs 1022.00. Now I get calls from collection department to pay the bills. It is simply an ugly malpractice being followed by Tata Photon. They force people to switch over to lower rental plan. When you tell them that services needs to be cancelled , they disconnect the phone. The harassment reached to its height when they called up on alternate phone number of our house which was attended by my 10 years old daughter. And they told her that we are switched over to lower rental plan.

    I just don't' understand how this company managing its customer's who belongs to a prestigious business group called TATA !

    I bought Tata Photon because I was a former Tata group employee. I never thought I would had to undergo so much frustration and harassment simply for the cancellation of services.

      Sir/madam
      with reference to my complaint, as i am customer of tata docomo i am not satisfied with the service regarding my complaint.

      For your kind information that on 26-8-12, without my permission Rs 30 was deducted for call tunes.for which i stop the service but my amount so illegally deducted is not returned, This happen to me second time in last month where i have been charged unlawfully, why tata docomo is doing wrong practice.
      I request to handle the matter and return my whole Rs 30 in my mobile a/c as soon as possible which was deducted without my permission.
      If you will do this type of service once again, i will not longer continue this type of malpractices & also i this ever happen to me again, i will be forced to file consumer suit & submit the complaint to TRAI for harassing, it is not about amount, but an unlawful deduction of amount.
      Return my amount immediately.
      Hoping to get best services.

          i lost data connectivity and i called customer care regarding this and asked for the internet settings for my mobile..they said they ll send the same in 30 mins but i hadn't received any settings for 4 hours,so i again tried to call them but they simply ended my call with automated voice saying that the officer is busy..i waited for a day and called them again,they answered in a frustrated manner that they had sent me the settings but i argued with them that i didn't received anything like that..once again they said they ll send me settings again..but i didn't got the settings yet even after a day..i m on my GPRS add on pack for 1 month,but i can't able to access my internet due to incorrect settings for past 2 days..they are exploiting my money..help me to sort this..my mobile no:[protected]...mobile model: samsung galaxy GT-I5510

            I want to register complain against Tata Photon because of notice issue after 1 year . Issue as below

            I haven't intimated about advance rental plan renewal. My advance rental plan starts on 24-dec-2011, but i made closure request on 20-dec-2011., But they are not ready to close the connection and say close connection after paying full 1 yr advance rent even if i have not use same for whole year and i haven't use 1 time also.

            I also surrender the device to my company, and get closure for the same. But after 1 yr i get Notice from Photon card that i have to pay advance rental even if in whole 1 yr i have not use single time, why i can pay if i have already intimated them well in advance for closure. and also they do not do monthly exercise like your payment due, etc. via email or phone or home address communication to bring out notice that they have not close so we take care well in advance for closure action


            this is very ridiculous behavior from Tata Photon team. Find the below conversation where i have already intimated them.

              With reference to my mobile number [protected].I have requested TATA DOCOMO for post bill credit limit freeze upto Rs.1000.After reaching the amount of Rs.1000 my services will be stop.

              Previously TATA DOCOMO did the same.But during last month bill (Bill Number [protected] Dtd.05/08/2012) they are not stop my services and quote the bill of Rs.1945.

              However i request again for the same and filed the complaint at their customer care as well as their customer service ID (customerservice.[protected]@tatatel.co.in).

              But they are not solve the problem and give pressure to pay the bill of Rs.1945.

              Again today they stop my outgoing services without solving the problem.

              However to start the services i paid the amount today morning .

              Kindly take the necessary action at your end.

              I have lost my tata photon data card in the month of Nov'11.I requested them to cancel the service for the same.Bu after my several request to them for cancelling the service,they didnt respond and now they are sending bills for whole 4 months to pay.As I have explained to them,if i am not using your services,then why should i pay?I have also requested them to check my IP address whether I am using your dungle or not since 12.11.2011.They are telling as the dungle is in your name,you have to pay the bill.

                Hi,

                My Tata Docomo relationship number is[protected]. Today I received a message to deposit Rs. 2204 to keep my connection active. Surprised I checked the usage in one of my cells and found that between 5th August and 24th August total consumption of data is shown as 162913 MB (i.e. around 163 gb). This is unbelievable considering the fact that I used the Internet to access a few web pages once in a while. Secondly, consuming that much data in broadband services too will take around a year for my daily usage.

                This is very concerning. I called up customer care for clarification and raising a service request. The customer care representative refused to log a request.

                I would like to to do the needful as soon as possible. I am hoping that I will not become a victim o[censored]nfair charges.

                  I have been subscribed to some NETWAP services without any

                  application or confirmation from my side or any notification from

                  the service provider's side. This service automatically deducts INR

                  30 from my account every month. All I get is a message from

                  NETWAP. The message i got today reads "Apple alleges

                  Samsung sales results of copying

                  http://mobile18.in.com/docomowap/rt/?refid=TECH".
                  I have sent five consequent messages to unsubscribe to this

                  service, I have not received a positive response from the service

                  providers. I request to do the needful or i will have to switch to

                  some other network becoz I have switched from AirTel to

                  DOCOMO for better services but......

                    Poor Internet speed if opt for 2mbps the plan fluctuates between less than 1mbps and 1.5mbps you will never get 2mbps, same problem at another location of ours where we opted for 4mpbs but the speed is always much lower.

                    New account beware - they are notorious about the Credit Limit is not more than Rs.1,000 per bill, if your bill is more than the credit limit (which they say they cannot increase for first 3 months) they disconnect the Internet service without prior intimation by phone call or email, this is against consumer laws and is unfair trade practice.

                    You are forced to pay up but even after paying the dues before due date and providing proof of payment they don't re-start the service.

                    No amount of phone calls and emails to their helplines can help you.

                    They take their own sweet time of 3-4 days to re-start the line even for commercial business owners who have to faces losses being without email and Internet for so many days,

                    This happened with me at two of our locations, for consecutive months, we went without Internet services for 3-4 days each time each line, and they do not adjust or refund for the days they did not provide you with service. Even if you have a fixed package of say Rs.1090 for 4MBPS per month, they know the package is fixed and the amount is bound to exceed their provided credit limit of Rs.1000.

                    Unethical unfair trade practices and non refund of amount for days no services provided for.

                    I am going to file a complaint in consumer court also on Bloomberg TV show for a refund.

                      I have subscribed to mobile Internet pack in TATA DOCOMO. till 3 Months back It worked fine. But now I am unable to connect to Internet properly. If I try to connect getting messages like “Network Busy”. I have to keep opening site around 10 times to catch the Internet connection. If I call customer care they tell like network is busy because all customers are using(It is just like “I have to wait for my turn to use the Internet”). How many times I have complained no response from them. my mobile settings are correct and my mobile in good working condition.

                      I am using Net banking, because this problems my transactions are failing.

                      Should I wait to connect to Internet. It seems like call to a TV program in that we have to keep trying to connect call.

                      I am getting irritated with this service of TATA DOCOMO(CHENNAI/TAMILANADU). Please provide a solution for this. Thank you.

                      Tata Docomo — Mobile no. not getting accessed

                      Dear Sir/Madam,

                      I bought Tata Docomo sim card due attractive advertisement in December 2009. However since begining I am facing one or other problem and I am not really getting access even after completing all formalities. I have submitted documents 3 times and still simcard is not getting activitated. After taking with company they informed to change simcard with service provider(Mahaveer Communications at paud Road, Kothrud, Pune). Service provider informed that I need to submit once again. This is really horrible and quite frustrating. Please help.

                        I am using [protected](AP Docomo) since from 5 years till 20th July @2012 after that i have been switched off my mobile becoz of work i went pune. now i am trying to switched on my mobile the message showing registration failed.
                        for that i called Docomo customer care they are say that number was ported to IDEA on 4th August 2012, but i did't did this one and that number is using some other person and he is saying he purchased that number by paying of 5000/-rs in the show room.

                                I am again facing same type of issue and not getting any proper response approximately 100s is deducted from my balance, each morning 3 rs is deducted. When i call to customer care they say a divin service is active and renewal and say we not give u refund just deactivate that service and again this was not happen but today complete 2 weeks and daily deduct 3 rupees and not getting any refund plus loss of balance daily.

                                I also try to contact any Supervisors but the customer care persons say all seniors are busy at that time, please update me on this.

                                  Hello. My name is vishal chheda. I have been using a tata docomo sim card since 2 years. But for last few months i have been experiencing an unnecessary deduction of balance by automatic activation of some packs which i dont use anytime. I talked to the customer care n ask for refund but they refused to give it back. Its my humble request to the authority to take this problem seriously because i have lost hundreds of my rupees in such kind of frauds. And i have this last option left. So please take some serious action and get my refund back.

                                    I, Rajat Jain student of IIT Rajasthan want to say that last month I buy a sim of ‘Tata Docomo’ from Ganesh Photosatat shop, Sabji mandi Ratanada, Jodhpur. I attested all my original documents to activate the sim.
                                    After two weeks, I got a call from the company to again submit my original documents. I went to the shopkeeper regarding this problem on the same day. He sent me to the Docomo office at bhairon ji circle, from where I came to know that my docomo number is owned by some other person. I again went to the shopkeeper for this matter. He asked me for my documents again. I again submit my voter ID, my photograph, bonafied certificate issued from IIT Rajasthan. But after few days my outgoing calls and messages get banned. I talk to the customer care of the company and visited docomo office personally but they said your documents doesn’t match with the previous one. My sim is not registered with my details and name but with some one else.
                                    At present, no one is taking the responsibility of this cheating. I had to buy a new sim for this period.
                                    I request the higher and concern authorities to look into the matter and punish the culprit. Along with this I want my money back which I spend during this trouble. Here I mention all the necessary details.

                                    • Docomo sim has the message pack worth – 44
                                    • Docomo sim has the std pack worth -- 25
                                    • Transport expenditure (for visting docomo office) --55
                                    • I had to buy a new sim worth -- 120

                                    Total --331.87

                                      According to plan i should get 2.5GB data for 30 days.but i received only 1GB data.
