Tata Docomo — Charging the customer even though agreed service was not provided | |||
Account#[protected] I had to get this connection terminated after getting into 50+ calls and emails to clarify the incorrect billing amount charged to me. I had taken 4MBPS 20GB plan which was for Rs 1000 per month. My connection was faulty and did not work properly for 2 months 13th June to 26th July. I had raised multiple complaints. Tata Docomo closed the auto closed the complaint multiple times. Their engineer did not visit the engineer once. When asked why was the call closed without any confirmation from me (user) then they did not have any concrete reasoning. Even after multiple complaints there were no follow ups to check if the connection speed has been restored. Finally I decided to stop paying the bill because Tata customer service was no more than a joke to me. When my bill was unpaid I started getting daily calls from billing department. (I wish they had taken this much interest to close the complaint). Every day a new person came over phone, without the history of what happened, and I had to spend 15 mins during each call to explain but it landed on deaf year. If I have not used the service why should I Pay. I need a reason why my complaints were closed without the problem being solved. I have mail records and dates of each complaints raised. Finally on 26th July an engineer visited (after I stopped paying the bill). The problem was with splitter. He changed the splitter and things started working well. I am happy to pay the full billing amount after the connection was restored. I am totally dis-satisfied with Tata docomo service, their professionalism, their data records, and their customer service. I have Rs 2097 outstanding. I have told many times to different follow up calls that I am happy to pay 50% of the amount for the 50% of the service I have used. Was this information helpful? | |||
