Tata Docomo — Company is charging even when the service is inactive | |||
I had taken a 3G connection from DOCOMO on November 2013. Their marketing person Mr. Milind (contact no. [protected]) gave me a corporate offer of 800 Rs. for 3 months Unlimited plan. He said its a connection for 3 months and you can renew the same plan after 3 months if you want. I paid him 800 Rs. and bought the sim card. He did not gave me any form to fill personal or plan information. When asked about the form he told me to sms the my details to his number and he will fill the form. I used the connection for 3 months. After 3 months the connection was terminated automatically and I was not able to connect to the service. I never used the connection after February 2014. Still I kept receiving emails and calls from DOCOMO regarding payments. I kept telling that I'm not using the connection but they said the connection is active and I'll need to pay 1600 Rs. for disconnection before 6 months. This was really a mental torture to me. On 17th July 2014 I received a call from someone who told her name as Ashwini Shinde (contact no [protected]) asking for payment of due amount. I told her the whole story about how the marketing guy gave me wrong information and that I'm not using connection at all. She kept begging me for making payment of minimum 1500 Rs and then the connection will be closed permanently and I'll never receive any calls from DOCOMO again. I just wanted to stop this mental torture from DOCOMO, so decided to make the payment of Rs. 1500 online (transaction number MCMP[protected]). She even said I'll get an email regarding full and final payment on my email id which I never received. When I called back on that number she said "I've sent mail to everyone, how did you not receive?". Some days later again I called regarding the mail, she said there is no such person called Ashiwini Shinde working here. The lady sounds fraud to me and only assigned a job of fooling people and getting money from them. I have already paid 1500 Rs for service I never used. But still I'm getting messages and calls from DOCOMO about due amount. I dont know when this harassment will stop from DOCOMO. 1. Disconnection:
As per our telephonic conversation, please be informed that the request for disconnection of your Photon Number has already been raised on 14th Aug 2014 and the request number for the same is[protected].
Please note that the connection will be deactivated on 14 Aug 2014 unless notified from your side. The current outstanding in your account is Rs. 467 and Due date was 8th June 2014.
2. Billing issue:
We would like to inform you that as you have stopped using our services and as nominal zero internet usage is reflecting in the bill for the month of Apr and May 2014, hence an adjustment request of Rs.467 has been raised for approval and soon it will be adjusted in your account.
Post adjustment, the outstanding amount in your account will be nil.
For further assistance we request you to write a mail to [protected]@tatadocomo.com.
