[Resolved]  Tata Docomo — Demand notice on bill payment

I am receiving threatening and harassment calls from Tata Docomo to pay the bill. I have visited Tata Docomo Office in Dwarakanagar visakhpatnam in June 2012 and paid the outstanding due amount and requested to close the Data Card Connection after six months I got a call from their customer service to pay the bill. I have advised them that the outstanding has been paid and settled and the customer service said they will raise a complaint and later I again got a call from Tata Docomo customer service and they advised the dispute was under process and will be resolved by[protected] and on 11/01/2013. I again received an SMS stating the dispute will take two more days to resolve. On 16/01/13 I received a confirmation SMS stating the dispute has been resolved.

I have sent Email to Tata Docomo Legal team on 23/02/13 and didnt get any reply and now suudenly I get a call from Mr P C Gotham and Mr Vinod Kumar stating they will file cheating case if the due amount is not paid in two hours and I tried my best to tell them that I have acted responsible to settle this and Tata Docomo was least responsible to resolve the matter and today I visited the branch again and met Ms Anusha and she said she can give 30% discount and asked me to settle. Is this reasonable where I paid the total due amount and requested to close the Data Connection and due to some Irresponsible employee of Tata Docomo who didnt act responsibally. The Data Connection was also not used after the bill payment.

I am feeling Humiliated, Harassed Middle Class Common man with the ill treatment by Tata Docomo.

I am also attaching the Email which was sent on 23/02/13.

This in regards to the Demand notice received on the bill payment of Account#[protected] and Telephone/Datacard# [protected].

The above Datacard connection was requested to be closed at Dwarakanagar Visakhapatnam branch in the month of June 2012.
I have also submitted a letter requesting to close the connection and the past due amount of rs 2400.00 was also paid.
The store was under complete renovation in the time of submission of the letter.

I received a demand letter stating to pay rs 2869.00 which is unacceptable.

It is not my fault if the account is not closed in-spite of a closure request . And the data card was also not used since then.

The demand notice also states I was deliberately avoiding the bill payment which is baseless and I was in touch with your customer service regarding the same dispute#[protected] and I was also sent confirmation SMS by your customer service. Your customer service advised the dispute was under process and will be resolved by[protected] and on 11/01/2013. I again received an SMS stating the dispute will take two more days to resolve. On 16/01/13 I received a confirmation SMS stating the dispute has been resolved.
