I purchased the Photon 3G dongle [protected] on 23rd March, 2013 in scheme 2500/- for 3 months. After completion of 3 months, I got it converted to prepaid with proper confirmation from Customer care and Showroom that there are no bills pending and it is safe to migrate without any charges/penalty as my 3 months duration was successfully completed. Confirmation was made "3 times".
However after completion of 6 months, I suddenly got bill of 1824/- mentioned as other charges. I was shocked to see how can they send a bill to prepaid customer. I registered my complaint 2-4 times where I was ensured my bill has been cancelled.
Still my bill was shown pending. On again registering complaint on 1st Nov, I was ensured that my bill will get cancelled in 48 hours. But got no calls, nothing in 48 hours. I called customer care after that where I was shocked to hear that there are no people right now to handle urgent requests and was asked to mail and wait till they respond.
Today I got call from them, where a rude lady talked to me very indecently. She made some strange arguments like you transferred your connection before 6 months and have to pay these charges. I asked her why this was not mentioned to me when I inquired 3 times before migrating to prepaid and why this was not mentioned in any of the bills that were given to me while purchasing and where can I find this information. She was speechless. She told me these charges exist and have to pay them.
When my scheme was postpaid, I had plan of 850/- while I was recharging for 1200/- after getting it migrated. So definitely I was paying them more than postpaid one.
Can someone please explain why should I pay when I get it confirmed from their people only. They show ads like no hidden charges but they exist in reality and that too of high cost. Sometimes they ensure that bill has been cancelled and sometimes make invalid argument.
I am not happy now with their services as this issue happened while I was previously. I have lost my faith and trust on Tata. I am not sure this issue will get resolved or not but unfortunately its customer who has to bear all this.
