[Resolved] Tata Docomo — unauthorized deduction of INR 75 | |||
I'm John and my number is [protected]. On 23 June 2014 at around 4.40am I got a message from Docomo stating "Movie World is activated at Rs75.0 for 60days. Bal:Rs126.18 at 23-Jun-14 04:06. To stop, Dial or SMS STOP to 155223(Free)" Of course, Rs 75 was reduced from my balance. I never activated any such pack (I did not even get a request to activate it, in the first place. So we can rule out accidental activation). This message came out of the blue while I was watching football on TV. I tried calling customer care right then and also the next day but I did not get through as the automated message kept on disconnecting my call, stating all of them are busy. I even went to a Docomo outlet to start out the issue but the guy there had no clue. I'm a journalist and I've been using Docomo for the last 2 years. I've had unauthorized deductions of 10s etc now and then which I didn't care but this 75 really got on my nerve. I'm really annoyed and if the issue is not resolved soon, I will use stronger and harsher channels. Was this information helpful? | |||

We would like to inform you that the deducted amount of Rs. 75/-has been credited back in your account vide docket number ABAL[protected]. The above mentioned service has already been deactivated on your number to avoid any more deductions. It will get deactivated within 30 minutes. We request you to check your account balance by dialing *191*2#.
