Hi,

I had booked Tata Punch Adventure AMT on 18th January 2022 from Tafe Access, Tata, Mount road, Chennai.

Even though there was a huge delay in allotting the vehicle, I patiently waited and believed in Tata motors for my first car. The vehicle got allotted last week and I was relieved.

Now, the dealer says I won't be getting price protection even though I booked prior to the hike and wants me to pay the huge difference. I did not sign any document stating that I will be paying the prevailing cost during delivery. Booking was taken only for the pre-revised amount with just a receipt for the booking amount of Rs.11, 000.

If this was the case, I wouldn't have waited patiently for four months, I would have moved to other choices. I was said, the invoice will be made only on the Pre-revised old Amount and so I had booked the vehicle.

Although TATA had announced price protection, I am being asked to pay more.

1. The vehicle being delayed and not being delivered on or before March 31st, 2022 is not my fault.
2. There is no mention of an end date for the price protection offered in the official communication from Tata motors.
This is highly arbitrary and not acceptable. Now the dealer is also not taking the responsibility for bearing the difference amount, even though the fault is on their side for not communicating the details to us. I was never informed that I would be paying the prevailing price during delivery. You are giving me no other option but to move to consumer court to resolve the issue. I always had high regard for Mr.Ratan Tata and I still do, but never expected to face this kind of horrendous experience. Lost the Trust in Tata.

    Difference in Invoice and TMC App (Tata Records)

    I bought tata nexon xm diesel last year in june 2021 for which invoice was also raised for june which i have attached, While doing registration for TMC App i found that owners details and vehicle purchase date is wrong, Vehicle purchase was march which was wrong, I raised the issue then they changed owners details but said they can't change purchase date .
    I escalate the issue to customer services then dealer get ready for extended...

    We have purchased TATA nexon car through GEM portal.
    Owner type was wrongly selected as central govt instead of PSU in TRC. I request for correction in TRC but have don't know where to approach.

      I got booked tata punch petrol pure varient on 10th of November 2021.At that time it's ex showroom price was 549000.But now the dealership has called me and told about expected delivery date of 25 may 2022 but they are asking me to pay ex showroom price of 582900/- Kindly clarify that what is the policy of the company regarding this?         Hi This is Mr.umesh hb, I've booked a Tata nexon xz puls petrol with white color from keymotors, Mysore road, Bengaluru showroom on 13th Jan 2022 Since then I have contacted the sales person for the delivery, but they are unable to commit a delivery date. I had paid 11000 as a booking amount. Please provide me with the car within this month with price protection policy and agreed commitment I can't wait for such long blindly, This is really very frustrating, As a Indian we are moving towards local brands as a part of vocal for local, But other companies are ready to give their products but why tata motors not providing on time, Tata motors giving bad experience while purchasing my dream car in life.

            I am very displeased with the outcome of #tatamotors. Recently purchased a 2022 TATA Tigor from #india #tatamotors PPS showroom in Kovilambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and up till now the brand new car has been going in and out of the workshop simply because of a noise that can not be resolved.

            It occurred to me that #tatamotors sold a defaulted car in place of a brand new one which was very unfair. The vehicle model has a single #cars reverse light which obviously is dangerous for anyone behind and such car should never have been approved because every car in the world do have 2 reverse lights.

            People work hard to enjoy their savings but this outcome has proven that buying cars require much research procedure to avoid purchasing ruins like cars from #tatamotors

              Very bad experience with Tata dealers while booking they said delivery period is 15 days but after 3 month over still I didn't get the confirm delivery date from SRM MOTORS Lucknow.

                I gave my vehicle Tiago XZ automatic for service on 24th April, 2022. Post service vehicle started showing issues with the AMT system. Took the vehicle back to service center but they are not able to diagnose the issue. After keeping the vehicle for more than 10 days they are now suggesting to replace the whole AMT unit and are quoting 2.5 Lakhs for it.

                  I am a Tata Altroz owner of Kolkata, my name is Payel Mukherjee- Mob No [protected]. My car has been sent for 2nd Servicing at The Tata Work Shop, Ghatakpukur- Kolkata, on 13th May’22. It was a pre-scheduled booking done by the Service Centre by Ms Baisakhi Choudhury[protected] & headed by Mr Rajib Bose [protected] who promised to deliver the car in 24hrs post servicing.
                  On the next day they failed to deliver the car, promised for a delivery on Monday, 16th. They failed again & committed a delivery on Tuesday by 12pm, all these were committed by Mr Rajib Bose of Tata Service Centre. He is a man of complete lackadaisical attitude and behaves improper with customer and doesn’t response always.
                  Last time also I had a very bad experience regarding my the dealing of this man and service experience on my 1st ever service. The car was unclean dirt all around both interior and exterior and neither the issue was resolved. Nothing was done but they kept the car for 10days.
                  I need stern steps to be taken and I need my car to be delivered today as committed.

                    Hi,

                    I have booked Nexon XMA vehicle on 11/11/2021 and the dealer (KHT whitefield) confirmed the price protection on booking time and EDD is 6-8 weeks. I asked for 2022 year manufacturing vehicle, so they given the EDD as 12-14 weeks (exp by Feb 2022).

                    In the month of 18-Jan-2022 i have changed the model from XMA to XMA(S), so they extended my EDD to 17-23 weeks. I got a call on 15-May-2022 from dealer and confirmed my vehicle allocation and told me to proceed with payment and they shared the latest revised rates and no price protection is applicable.

                    Price correction happened multiple times in between[protected] and[protected]. Now they are putting on my head and asking me to pay. Refer below link for TATA motors public statements in media.

                    I am not the cause for the delay and even waiting from last 6+ months for the vehicle. Tata motors team is saying delay is due to raw materials supply and its not our issue.

                    Finally both Tata motors team and dealer are asking customer to pay excess amount (38500 on Ex-Showroom price). Dealer asking to pay all amount on or before[protected] to proceed further.

                    Always Customers are the victims, why they promised price protection while booking and now they are denying, is it a false promise by Tata motors to customers. If company can change policies at any time as per their wish, what about the commitments they given to the customers initially. Customers will try to arrange as per the commitments, now suddenly they are asking to pay around 47k (on road price).

                    Why i need to pay excess amount as i am not the cause for the delay and they are insisting me that you have to pay the full amount.

                    Now dealer are saying we will give you discount in insurance which they quoted 56k, and giving for 38k. In online for the same vehicle the insurance amount is 24k in acko, 28k in hdfc ergo. Again they are trying to fool me.

                    Asking Tata motors and the Consumer forum team to help me to resolve my issue.

                      My Tata Nexon car MH12TN3433 is having noise issue from rear pillar .. Rudra motor wagholi pune is unable to fix the issue as they further need help from Tata motor engineers ….. I have checked with Rudra motor they are saying that they have sent multiple emails and call to Tata motor team in Pune office Pune l but still no line up is done as of now today... I have sent multiple emails and raised complain with them but no result... MY car is still in service center and not getting any help from Tata motor...

                        I have booked a TATA TIAGO- XTO model from Riya Autolink, Ambawadi, Ahemdabad. I paid the booking amt of Rs 5000 on 10.03.2022. The dealer told me that the car will be delivered in 60 days but till date car has not been delivered and over that now the dealer is telling it will take 60days more.                           We have booked tata tiago xz+ PLUM colour on Apr 8th and dealer has promised to deliver between Apr 15th to Apr last week . They postponed delivery week after week and kept me waiting till now. Today they informed me that prices were increased. Already i got irritated about the delay in delivery and now one more added to my frustration.

                          We are not accepting such a irresponsibility from the side of such a reputed firm like tata motors.
                          We need the delivery alteast this month with promised price at the time of booking.

                              I am very much displeased with the services rendered by your employees in the servicing center of Rajahmundry, E.G. Dt, Andhra Pradesh

                              I purchased TATA NEXON XZ+ 1.2 RTN BS6 Foliage Variant on 21st May 2021. I have repeatedly informed the problems of my vehicle during the first, second and even in the last servicing to your service managers. My complaints were noted down by the service manager and the body builder in the job slip but none of them were resolved upto date. Instead they have created a lot of damage to my vehicle both inner and outer side of the vehicle.

                              I gave my vehicle for third servicing on 02/05/2022 and got a call for deliver from the service center on 14/5/2022 that too after repeated calls from my side..

                              The following are the complaints of my vehicle I have informed to your service manager in the first, second and third servicing repeatedly

                              1) Rust marks/spots on the interior roof - complaint raised right from 2nd service
                              2) Roof grab handles improper installation on both sides at the rear seat - complaint right from 1st service
                              3) The tambour door case is not aligned perfectly. The center console case at the left bottom is not fixed with a bolt. The case is out of its position by rising up. - complaint from the 1st service.
                              4) During my third servicing I have informed your people to claim my insurance for the slightly damaged bumper.

                              *Things have not yet rectified even in the third service:

                              1) In the process of checking the roof for the cause of rust spots, the service persons have totally damaged the roof strength and affixed it in a very bad manner. The roof lost its shape and strength in holding its grip in the specified position and even moving inside at the edges for just a slight touch.
                              When I identified the things and questioned your service people, they tried to threaten me very strongly that the roof strength and shape will be the same even for showroom cars without admitting their mistake.
                              2) Roof grab handles were still in the bad condition. Tried to fix the clips with glue.
                              3) The tambour door case alignment and the center console case problem has not been rectified yet.
                              4) In this aspect the only favourable thing is, the slightly damaged bumper is replaced as the insurance is claimed. Even in fixing it, they didnot check the perfect alignment. For such the left front door could not open smoothly and the edges got damaged due to friction and lost its paint.

                              All the above issues were identified by myself and questioned them even after leaving the car for 10 days.

                              In this circumstances, I have left my vehicle in the servicing center for further rectification by the assurance of the MANAGER, SIVA SANKAR MOTORS (P) LTD, Rajahmundry.

                              The hospitality towards customer is very bad. Everything is taken to their concern so easily. No regrets.

                              In this regard, I wish the authority concern to resolve my problems/issues at the earliest

                                I have booked TATA Nexon XMA on 25th Dec 2021 at Rudra Motors, Wagholi, Pune and now its almost 5 months still I haven't received a car and just getting false promises from dealer by giving date on date and false committment. I have talked multiple time with dealer's sales manager as well as Customer experience manager and they are giving illogical reasons like 'Tata motors is not allocating automatic vehicle to them, and they kept giving us assuarance saying that we have sent crtitical mail for this car since 3 months', post that I have mailed to TATA motors customer care but they are not bothered to reply on that. It's extremely disappointing and disrespectful. A car buying for first time is an emotion and surely Tata Motors are not regarding the emotions of the customers who believe in the brand, reputation and the company. I have bought the same car for being Vocal For Local but it seems I have made mistake. Neither the dealer's general manager nor the tata motors is responding to our complaint. I hope I will get some relief from this forum.

                                  Hi,
                                  I have seen a lot of videos and articles that states the same issue i am facing. Car suddenly doesnt respond to accelerator pedal and stops in between the road. Its an issue with fuel pump that is a manufacturing defect in 2017 2018 models of tigor tiago. Now they are charging 12000 for it which is company’s issue.. why should we pay for something that has been done by them.. kindly get it fixed

                                    It's been just 5 months I bought the car but it stops in the middle of the road almost 10 times .no service center is able to resolve the issue .Regret buying it.looking for some response and resolution.my car has been in service center more than in my home and everytime towing the car is painful...
