We have Tata Sumo Grande (2008) Dicor 2.20, Its run about 2.30 lac kms, 15 days back all of sudden its stopped running at 80 kms speed, The vehicle have to toy to Star Car Service Center, J P Nagar, Mysore, when checked it was found that its time belt, timing gears, tensoners, other belt, chains as well as injectors have to be replaced, Required spare parts have been changed, Vehicle fully checked at that service center for complete one week, other items like Hydrolic Chain adjuster etc also changed, Injectors send to Nayak Diesel, Bamboo Bazar, Mysore for checking & overall & its found that 3 are working but needs to be overall & one has to be replaced, after installing with these the same vehicle sent to Mr. Saleem Bamboo Bazar for coding of injectors & the same has been done, The vehicle started but with problem of no pick up & heavy smoke both white & black, Again Mr. Dickson of Star Car tried to diagnose the problem, crank shaft, cam leaver & related issues checked, Oil seal also changed but problem could not be resolved, Next day vehicle sent to Nandas Car Service, Kavempu Nagar where we regularly sent the vehicle, They again diagnosed the problem, checked vehicle with all angels & found some 4 Qty of Hyderolic Chain Adjusters again broken which were all 16 changed earlier by Star Car, in addition to that Engine time settings done, some lathe work has been done, hose pipe etc changed & Vehicle delivered to us in running condition in four days, We were happy to see that problem resolved, we went factory but after 10 kms driving we seen that service light is on at vehicle running above 80 km to 85 km on and pickup is down after the service light is on, We immediately return to service center who refereed us again to Mr. Saleem at Bamboo Bazar for scanning the vehicle, He scanned the vehicle & removed all fault codes but this problem still continued of Service Light On & pick up getting down. Its the same case with me. I had booked Tiago on 24th April at KHT motors Bangalore. The sales executive promised me delivery in 4 weeks so i paid the booking amount of 10k. The SBI bank loan was also to be coordinated by them, which took almost 2 weeks to process.For that also i had to do the follow up with them. Its 21st May today my loan agreement DD has not been processed coz KHT guys are clueless as to when they can deliver the car to me.
I liked the car a lot but the pathetic response by the TATA people is pushing towards cancelling the order. My previous experience of Maruti dealership is thousand times better than this. I will wait another week max for this to be sorted out or just cancel the order.
