[Resolved] Tata Motors — tata tigor | car shuts down
Hello, This is regarding my relatively newly bough Tata Tigore (2017 Model). The car shuts down abruptly while hill climbing. I have experienced this issue more than a couple of times and it could have turned fatal if it was not for quick thinking and action. While climbing the hills of Himachal Pradesh my Tigore would stop abruptly without warning, there is no engine light or any indication about engine running hot. The car would not even move on 1st gear. In today's day and age where everything is power and hydroponically controlled, a shut down means that my steering stops responding so does the breaks. My car shut down on an incline and it was extremely horrifying that the break pedals froze (as expected with no power). My attempts of getting this tested at Tata service centers has proved to be nothing less than exhausting and torturous. The service center people deny of there being any issue in the Car systems. Can some one help me here? Regards, Karan Was this information helpful?

It's so simple, you need to replace your fuel pump..it is happening in Tigor cars mfg'ed prior 2018...
This has now come with new fuel pumps w/ improved performance and durability.
