Hi Team,
Follow-up on pending Concern on complaint number[protected].
I raised my concern and received a reply along with a complaint number nearly a month ago. However, there have been no further updates or actions from your team since then.
Despite the earlier assurance of necessary support, I haven’t seen any progress or communication regarding the issue. I’m concerned that my case might have been overlooked, possibly due to the volume of other cases being handled, or that Luxon – Kottakkal might not be prioritizing my concern.
If your team does not intend to take this issue forward, please let me know, rather than unnecessarily delaying the matter.
I would appreciate it if you could provide an update on the current status and clarify the next steps.Thank you for your attention and understanding.
Regards
Anil

Subject: Subject: Urgent Follow-Up – Recurrence of Rusting Issue on Tata Nexon (Purchased 2021 – KL 65 Q 7800) Request for Permanent Resolution

Dear Tata Motors Customer Care and Luxon Tata team,
Tata Nexon Owner Name : Sujisha P (Spouse)
Vehicle Registration No.: KL 65 Q 7800
Extended Warranty Valid Until: January 2026
I am writing to bring to your immediate attention a recurring issue with my Tata Nexon (purchased in 2021), which was previously reported to both Tata Luxon Dealership, Kottakkal, and Tata Passenger Vehicle Customer Care over two months ago. Despite assurances from your teams, the matter remains unresolved, and I am yet to receive a satisfactory update or permanent resolution.
Issue Summary:
In 2024, I noticed rust formation near all four door handles of my vehicle and reported it promptly to Luxon Kottakkal.
After inspection, the dealership escalated the matter to Tata Motors with supporting photos and videos.
Tata approved repainting under the extended warranty, and the work was carried out accordingly.
Unfortunately, the rust issue has reappeared in the same areas within a year, suggesting:
The previous repair may not have been carried out properly, or
There is an underlying manufacturing defect.
Recent Developments:
I re-reported the issue two months ago to Luxon Kottakkal, seeking a permanent solution.
During the initial instance, Mr. Jamsheed at Luxon had assured me that if the rust issue returned, it would be addressed again without issue.
This time, however, the dealership has shown reluctance to take responsibility, suggesting:
Filing an insurance claim (which is inappropriate in this context), or
Seeking fresh warranty approval.
I was further informed that the repair cost is ₹14, 000, but only ₹4, 000 has been approved by Tata, leaving ₹10, 000 at my expense.
This is unacceptable, as the rust is clearly not due to user negligence or wear and tear, but likely stems from either poor prior repair or a product quality issue.
My Concerns:
Unfair cost burden for an issue that was previously repaired and has recurred due to no fault of mine.
Lack of follow-up or communication from both Luxon Kottakkal and Tata Motors, despite repeated attempts.
Risk of warranty expiry in January 2026, which may further complicate the situation if not addressed now.
Service accountability and product reliability concerns with a relatively new Tata vehicle.
Request for Immediate Action:
I respectfully request the following from Tata Motors and Luxon Kottakkal:
A permanent and full repair of the rust issue without any additional cost to me.
Written assurance that this problem will be fully resolved and will not recur.
A clear explanation on:
Whether this is a known issue affecting Tata Nexon vehicles, or
If this is an isolated defect.
Next steps to escalate the issue further if required – including higher officials or Tata Motors Regional Office contacts.
Conclusion:
I have shown patience and trust in Tata Motors and the Luxon dealership, but this prolonged delay and lack of ownership have been disappointing. I sincerely hope this issue will be treated with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. Kindly provide a clear resolution at the earliest, ideally within 5 working days, to avoid any further complication in this regard.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
Thanking you,
Regards
Anilkumar K
