I am shocked to receive the above bill amounting to rs 8483 for the month of april, 2018. Our room was unoccupied till november 2017. Since our occupation from mid november 17, for two months our meter was showing correct reading (Around 90 units per month).in feb 18 our consumption dropped due to lesser usage of electricity.in april the meter started malfunctioning as it showed huge consumption of 613 units. Therefore, it was replaced by the company. Thereafter, the new meter has recorded consumption of 25 units.
The bill has been generated on the basis of consumption recorded by the old meter no tat23769 which was defective. It has been replaced by a new meter no l0232669 which showed consumption of 25 units only. It can be seen from our historical consumption records that it never exceeded 100 units in a month. As we were staying elsewhere most of the time there was no use of electricity in the past.
In view of the above, billing of 696 units is erroneous and needs rectification. Therefore, you are requested to rectify the bill and send the rectified bill for payment.
In spite of my complaint on 30th april 2018, the company has addressed the problem completely.
Tata Power Solar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
its happening all over same is the case with m i got a bill of 8000 for 3 months in july and from march to july i have paid rs 1200 so i[censored] check its almost 12000 for 4 months and in lockdown how can they do this to us pls can anyone help me
