Taxi Bazaar — fraud | |||||
I booked a taxi from https://www.taxibazaar.in on 18 dec 2017 making an advance payment of 825 inr. I booked the taxi for sam sand dunes to jodhpur railway station on 24 dec 2017 for 9 people. The pickup time was 1100 hrs but there was no information regarding the driver till 1000 hrs. After so many efforts when i was connected to them, they provided me with the details of the driver. I was waiting for the driver, but when called he said the taxi had broken down and he can't pick us. When informed to taxi bazaar, they asked to wait for the driver. On calling again at 1130 hrs, taxibazaar had blocked my number. When called from another number, they were outsourcing a taxi for which we had to pay 1000 inr extra. As we had to catch the train on time, we asked them to send the taxi asap. The driver came at 1400 hrs, who was not knowing who had sent him. The driver asked for 1000 inr for the fuel in between at around 1600 hrs. Then at 1900 hrs, he made a stop at the secluded petrol pump, asking us to pay another 5500 inr, without which he won't drop us at the railway station. We had to pay the full amount to the driver, for which we have not received any bills. Taxi bazaar is not replying to the emails, neither provided any bills for the same. I have read many reviews afterwards, which tells the same story. They are running a fraud site and take bookings. Please look into this. I am attaching the emails for your kind reference. Taxi bazaar is a fraud. Myself, my wife and two kids from Chennai had planned a trip to Shimla and Manali for a week (April 30 to May 5). First we contacted different companies in the market for our trip. Taxibazaar gave us attractive rates when compared to others. And they spoke so convincingly that we fell for them. Till we paid our advance online everything went very well. 1.They said they will give the vehicle and driver details two days before the trip. But even the last day they did not give any information regarding the driver. When we kept on calling them for the details they sent a vehicle number and driver name the evening before the trip.2. They had promised to send a HP registered vehicle so that we do not face any trouble in entrring Rohtang pass but they sent a Punjab vehicle.3. The vehicle and driver that came did not match with the details they sent. When asked about it he said the vehicle booked for us met with an accident.Throughout the trip the driver did not switch on the AC oin the cab even after our repeated requests.4. They had sent us an email confirming that they will take us to Rohtang pass with the amount of Rs.1500 in addition to the amount discussed. After going to manali Rohtang pass got opened but they didn’t inform us. When we called them they said due to sudden rush there their vehicle cant go in and we have to hire a local taxi. Local taxi demanded Rs.5000. When we informed taxibazaar they said there is no other option. We took a local taxi and visited the pass. We then told taxibazaar that we will deduct this amount from the payment. They did not agree. We said then we do not need the cab anymore and cancel it immediately. We also sent a mail as requested. The next day we received a call from the drivers owner asking us to use the cab and that we can deduct the amount and pay them. So we continued. The last day they had to drop us at Chandigarh railway station. Few kilometers before the railway station two people of the taxiwala blocked the cab and demanded the whole amount to be paid. We told them everything that happened also begged them to allow us to catch the train. They kept blackmailing us and said we can go only after paying the demanded amount. We then asked them to take us to the local police station. They took us to Chandigarh police station. Police after hearing the whole issue told them this is not fair to trouble the tourists this way. And told us to pay the amount as we wished.He also asked them to drop us at the railway station. In the meantime we missed the train and there was no other train that night to delhi. The taxi people dropped us at the railway station and disappeared without saying anything. We were from Chennai and had two daughters with us. The experience that night was a nightmare. We faced hell a lot of trouble there to reach delhi.The taxibazaar officers take the advance and give the lead to local taxi people who behave like gundaas. I will never recommend anyone to book with taxibazzar. Now reading my review they will reply saying we are their competitor and are posting fake review. You can call me at my mobile [protected]. Taxi Bazaar is a great cheat and nobody should fall in their trap.
Since they were taking advance for a circular trip Chandigarh-Shimla-Manali-Chandigarh compared to others, I booked them with an advance of Rs. 1800/- and they took a responsibility for arranging permit for Rohtang Pass. But they gave me a number of a taxi owner Gurmit of Chandigarh and washed their hand for taking a responsibility for the permit inspite of my persistence. Highly surprisingly, thereafter, Taxi Bazaar as well as Taxi owner Gurmit stopped receiving my phone call. Permit was possible only six days ahead of our plan and time was passing for the permit. I what-apps an ultimatum to both of them to talk to me over phone by 11 a.m., but there was no response. I thought, if such is a behaviour of both of them, how horrible will be the trip. I booked then another agent and harped on returning my advance money for their indifferent attitude, but neither they talked to explain their stand or applause and nor they returned the money.,

Avoid using cab from taxibazaar.com . Thugs of Delhi. 1st they will take advance then will stop picking your calls . Will not provide you itinerary and will stop taxi in middle and threat you to make extra payment or will leave you in middle of the journey. They will report late and will always crib for going to any places in spite of planned.

After complaining of Taxi Bazaar I got a reply to mention Booking Id which I did but till now I haven't heard anything from them.
Their main source of income is to fool people and earn money and Taxibazaar is one of the sources to use by them. The drivers of Taxibazaar are thief and liar and always shamefully ask for TIPS.
They are like ALIBABA and 40 Chor.
