Taxiforsure — Unethical behavior of driver | |||
We booked a taxiforsure cab from Thoraipakkam to Siruseri. The driver cancelled the trip saying that he wants to take up only short trips. The next driver explained that Taxi for sure pays them a lump-sum amount if they complete 13 trips in one day. Hence, the drivers prefer short trips as this is beneficial to them. Taxi for sure management has to resolve this issue instead of penalizing the commuters. Another driver insisted on our cutting the trip midway and booking the same cab from then onwards. This way, the trip will be considered to be two trips. But, commuters have to pay the base charge of Rs.50 twice. When he had to wait for 10 mins for a friend of mine to arrive, the driver was very rude and said that the waiting time would be accounted to Taxi for sure and that he would not get any benefit. So, he wanted us to close the booking and rebook the same cab once my friend arrived. The drivers take up trips only if cash is paid instead of OLA money. I seriously feel that OLA and Taxiforsure have to reconsider their payment policy. The drivers end up being extremely rude to customers just for winning their award points. One driver said that he consistently gets rating of 4.5 and above and therefore, he cannot wait for a passenger, even when we promised to compensate him by paying him extra money.
