I have got call from TCS for Interview on Dec 21st. On that day they asked me about current organization. I have clearly mentioned about my current company. They said there will be a set of approvals need to take up before schedule interview with me since i am working on their client organization.
And also i am not working on the product where TCS support my company.
After some time i got call again from the same person that they have got set of approvals and asked me to attend interview on the next day which is Dec 22nd. On the interview phase also i have updated clearly on my role and my company where i work. Interview got over and on the next day i got call from TCS HR team that i got selected and they said they will send an email with link. where i was asked to upload my documents there.
I have uploaded documents on the same day which is on 23rd dec. On the profile page also i have mentioned about my current company clearly and the documents i uploaded also has the same. On 24th dec i recieved salary breakup and which i accepted on the same day without delay. And the documents was in verified state on 27th Dec. At that time they asked me to wait for some time since they would require management approval. post which they will get approval from my current organization.
I have waited for an week and on JAN 1st week i have dropped mail to them on the process. They said it is still pending with management approvals. so i have waited 1 more week. the next week i called HR person who co-ordinated me . Over the call he said that they got management approvals and the approval was pending from my current company and i waited 1 more week and called again HR. At that moment he said that there is an issue between TCS and my current company. Because of which it is getting delayed and they couldn't process further and asked me to wait. On that call i have clearly mentioned that i was working as Fixed term worker in my current company which is an contract basis. There is no specific rules FTW has when companerd to full time employee on the approvals part. In our offer letter it is clearly mentioned that if FTW gets jobs outside then the can put on papers with 1 month of notice period. I attached my cuurent company offer letter and dropped mail to them.
After and hard 1 month they are comming up with an statement that they couldnt hire employee from their client organization. Beacuse of their HR polices states that .
My question is simple. On the initial call they know that i am working on their client company, and on interview i have updated, again in documents upload part i have uploaded the same. post after 1 month they are comming up with an statement like this.
if their policy states that then why should call the candidates to attend interview, and select the candidate and move till offer state. on selection with TCS i have rejected the offer which i got in couple of startup company with 5% less package than TCS offered. My concern is not with package. Since i was working on contract role i am in need to switch company for job security.
only for that i have choosed TCS. since TCS has good work atmosphere. But at the end they have made me to zero.
when i enquired about this to my current company they clearly mentioned that there is no specific stop policies for fixed term workers on the job change.
Kindly investigate further and give me a good results.
