I have received the electricity bill for rs. 709for the month of april2020& rs 592 for the month of may whereas i don't have a/c or any high voltage consuming appliances and moreover the house remains closed from 8.00 am to 7.30 pm as. I am only living in the room. My previous highest bill is nearly rs 120 only. Highest times paying is rs 60 -90 only. There is definitely something wrong. Please check the last 10 months of my paid bills. I request you to take appropriate action in the above case and avoid such blunders in the future.

Updated by Rajesh Attuluri I am getting excess current bill please resolve my problem.i paid in the previous month's 60--90 rupees only but I am getting 709 rupees for the month of April 2020, Rs 592 for the month of May.please checkout from last 10 month bills

Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company [TSSPDCL] Customer Care's response Dear consumer,

As per TSERC orders issued dt: 04/05/20 the provisional bill for LT category I(domestic) for May/2020 month is generated equivalent to the units billed in May/ 2019 billed month. After lifting of lock down the meter reading will be taken and bill will be revised accordingly. Any excess amount will be adjusted to future bills or less will be collected

.It is to inform you, that all individual provisional bills are issued as per the TSERC orders only & as per their respective category .No individual billing revisions are done . .

*You are kindly requested to pay the bill amount as displayed against your service number in web portal to avoid surcharge, if any and cooperate with the Electricity Department*.
