Hi, I have received a bill amount of rs. 2737 for sep 2019. To know the reason i went to the nearby tsspdcl office carrying all the last 4 months bill slips and spoke with them. Reply from tsspdcl officer "as your meter was stuck up so the bill was issued for average units of last three month's consumption and the meter will be replaced with the new meter by this month ending and your next bill will also be issued for same average units as the new meter will not record the exact consumption" My last month i. E. Aug 2019 bill is rs. 780 and past months was high because of summer season. Now they are asking me to pay rs. 2737 as they cannot do any changes. They want me to pay approximately 3 months electricity bill at a time. My question is simple here if the meter is stuck is it the customer issue and how can they take the average of the last three months. Even if they are taking last three months, they did not consider aug month units and they only took the months in which the bill amount was high. If the meter is stuck is it a customer mistake? I also checked my meter and it looks fine for me because the units are changing daily. Was this information helpful? | |||
