I sent the following complaint on 13.6.2017, but haven't received any response so far. Dear sh. Ankit I would like to bring to your notice the following serious shortcomings of your arrangement for the yatra, despite the escalation of charges by you. 1. Though it was stated that the stay has been arranged in hotels, the stay was arranged in yatri niwas and dharmshala, except for the stay in haridwar and karnprayag. Dates promised hotel hotel voucher actual stay 28 may hotel suvidha deluxe hotel apsara, haridwar hotel apsara, haridwar 29-30 may hotel samrat hotel aswal, barkot hotel aswal, barkot 31 may - 01 jun hotel shivananda hotel shivputra, uttarkashi hotel shivputra 02- 03 jun hotel jagat raj, sitapur hotel ashish, ukhimath vijay tourist lodge 04 jun hotel charan paduka, badrinath hotel yogbadri, pandukeshwar unnamed dharmshala, badrinath 05 jun hotel ashirwad, srinagar hotel santikunj resort, karnpryag hotel shubh yatra 06 jun hotel suvidha deluxe hotel apsara, haridwar hotel apsara, haridwar 2. All the hotels/yatri niwases had lots of problems, the main issue was that there was no cleaning, and delay in serving tea and breakfast. It seems that the accounts of the hotels are not settled by you in time, due to which they are not willing to give proper service to the guests, and morning tea and breakfast was served only at hotel shivputra, and hotel shubh yatra. Individual details of the shortcomings are as under Hotel apsara Room decor ok, but bad house-keeping, dirty linen, trash can not emptied, no towels No ac remote, ac too noisy Dinner readied only at 9:30 pm Breakfast delayed too much, did not get breakfast as quantity was too little considering the number of guests Creaky doors, no door handles Counter person having weird suggestions, like take jio sim instead of asking for wifi, dinner gets delayed even in homes, no solution for power-cut,... No cupboard, no shelf Foul smell in toilet No electricity, no generator Aswal Location good Only one towel No tea/breakfast in morning of yatra No hot water No daily cleaning of room Shivputra Location good Dirty linen Leaky tap No daily cleaning of room Vijay Horribly stinky toilet Unwilling to serve breakfast No soap Dirty rooms Unnamed dharmshala Being a dharmshala, what can be expected in the name of service? Not even drinking water, or a lock for the room Hotel shubh yatra Initially refused having booking, maybe because his previous account has not been settled Finally, seven persons adjusted in 2 two-bed rooms Extremely slow service during lunch and breakfast, had to leave unfinished Faulty fan No geyser Very bad phone networks 3. Transportation/vehicle Though the vehicle and the driver for the yatra was satisfactory, but the vehicle from delhi to haridwar was highly unsatisfactory. Taxi to haridwar A/c duct kept falling off on us Water dripping on us from a/c duct Left-side passengers' gate could be opened from outside only Driver forced us to take lunch in the restaurant of his choice Driver misbehaved despite being permitted to halt separately for his lunch Driver misbehaved and refused to take us to destination, and wasted time by going into narrow lanes of city Taxi to delhi Had to call up for the vehicle Took more than an hour to report In view of the above deficiencies, it is clear that the services and facilities promised were deliberately not provided which necessitate suitable refunds.
