Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to bring to your attention an incident involving TMT Bus No. MH04EP0737, which occurred at the Talaopali bus stop in Thane at 5.45 pm on 17th oct 2025
My parents, aged 69 and 67, were waiting at the bus stop when the bus arrived. The conductor did not open the rear door, compelling them to board through the front door as there was no other option. On doing so, both the driver and conductor began shouting at them and used abusive language. The conductor further remarked, “You senior citizens travel free of cost, then you cannot ask me anything, ” which was extremely disrespectful and humiliating.
Such behavior towards senior citizens is unacceptable and reflects poorly on TMT’s service standards. I request that strict action be taken against the concerned staff members, and that necessary steps be implemented to ensure such incidents are not repeated in the future.
If this complaint is not addressed promptly, we will be compelled to explore legal recourse against TMT for harassment and misconduct towards senior citizens.
