The Golden Trips - Kolkata — Horrible experience. Very rude, unprofessional, cheaters

I booked a Kerala tour package COVERING COCHIN, MUNNAR, THEKKADI, ALLEPPY, KOVALAM &TRIVENDRUM, for Rs.50, 275/- for 7 days & 6 nights, for my daughter, son-in-law and their little baby, who came from UAE to enjoy trip to Kerala. Believing the tall talk of Mr. Manish ([protected]), a rep of the above company, we finalized the tour and remitted Rs.35000/-. After receiving this advance, Mr. Manish, disappeared from the scene and did not respond to my various calls. Despite repeated calls and emails, they did not give the Vehicle details or the Hotel details. When we were about to opt out from the tour and give a complaint against the company, one lady by name Sakshi ([protected]) called back saying that she is the tour Coordinator and will take care of all the arrangements. Sakshi gave us many assurances and that she is the point of contact for any problem. Believing her promises, my children landed at cochin airport. They had to wait for long hours for transport at the airport. At THEKKADI the driver of the vehicle demanded down payment of 10, 000/, otherwise to get down the vehicle. Only After receiving the amount, the driver started the vehicle.The operator informed the hotel name at 11.30 am only and the hotel mgmt refused accommodation as the golden trips did not pay their earlier dues. It took 4 hours to reconcile the problem. The House boat person did not allow my people to get into the boat, although there was a message to him by The Tour operator, as theGoldenTrips.com have defaulted payment on the earlier occasions. My repeated attempts to contact their tour coordinator and their Cochi and Kolkata Offices went in vain, as they did not answer my calls or lifting & just holding the phone without answer or gave a rude reply "we are arranging" and disconnected the calls. My people had to wait for long hours to get into the Boat. Similar is the experience at Kovalam. My people had to pay rent. Thus my people had a very annoying, frustrating tour to Kerala, only because of the fraud and foul play by the tour operator. I and my people spent more than 2000/- only on telephone calls. Their replies were rude and unbecoming of a tour operator, who are expected to be more hospitable and courteous towards guests, visitors and travelers. The guests to KERALA which is known as "GODS OWN COUNTRY" are treated like refugees and hostages by this cheater & fraudster. I hope the authorities concerned will take the matter seriously and correct the attitude and Masefield intentions of the tour operators. Otherwise Kerala Tourism will earn a very bad reputation.
