Sir I live in bilaspur Himachal Pradesh I have purchased Indian express newspaper monthly offline plan but the delivery boy is asking me 2rs extra while it is clearly mentioned that 2rs extra will be charged from j and k people only then why he is charging from himachali locals

By locking most of news on website for this paper, IE is damaging itself. It will not increase readership or revenues. More people come to site if news is written properly and is seems to be genuine and verified. This give more revenue from advertisements. Just locking news from reading will not get nay revenue, since most of that news is political, just a political non-sense and more than that available on various other sites.

Therefore someone in management should do some review revenue generation from this technique and try to show that this paper has truly better quality of news.

I came across an article titled "Man goes to SBI in London, finds it shut during lunch break and Tweeple can’t stop cracking jokes about it" dated 11.06.2022 on your website. As an employee of State Bank of India I am deeply offended. We are aware that SBI lunch break is a running gag and people love to make jokes about it at every opportunity. It is not the gag that offended me but the baseless comment of Indian Express.
The remark "but the only problem is sometimes it gets dragged far beyond the stipulated time" made by Indian Express is unfounded. Please know the facts before making a comment as such about a Bank that serves almost 45 crore customers. State Bank of India (all of its 22 and odd thousand branches) does not shut down for lunch time because there is no such thing as "Lunch Time". Staff take lunch break when the crowd is less and take lunch in turns to make sure the counter is always manned. Some branches are so crowded that staff get to have their lunch sometimes at 3pm and 4pm. Staff are allowed to take only 30 minute lunch break and this is the only break they get in their day.
Next time before making a comment please visit your nearest SBI branch because we can take a joke but not a groundless statement.

In the referred article..the author talks about the "running gag". However in the last line goes like " the only problem is sometimes it gets dragged far beyond the stipulated time.". It's an irresponsible comment the author has made without any fact check. It doesn't seem like reporting a news.

I booked my return tickets in the premium class, through united airlines. My PNR number is H3V18C, Due to Ukraine & Russia war, they have stopped Mumbai - Newark direct flight, leaving all booked passengers on the road. Finally as if doing a favour, forced me to accept economy plus class for Delhi- Newark flight & ordinary economic class from Mumbai Delhi flight by Air India & Newark Cincinnati flight by the united. At Delhi airport, at their check-in counter number of passengers were complaining about the same. They have not offered a premium class to us & sold premium class tickets to new passengers with a hefty premium price. My return journey was on 27th April & my airport encounter with Air India was horrible, details given as below

My flight to the USA was on 27 April, rebooked my ticket through United Airlines. From Mumbai to Delhi by Air India & to the USA by United. Reached Mumbai Airport, T2 terminal 2.5 hrs. early. Due to Air India's system failure, they were not able to generate tickets, though my name was appearing in their system. I was standing nearly for the first two hours, about to faint & sitting on the floor, they were blaming United. Air India staff were technically incompetent to solve this hitch. They were enjoying the situation & informed me passengers who booked through United, have faced similar problems. They have not bothered to find out a permanent solution for this, United office at the Mumbai airport opened at 5.30 P.M., and by that time I miss my Delhi flight. United was kind enough to offer me a glass of water & rebooked me on 29th April, through Vistara Airlines.

I have to carry out the RTPCR test again as per USA norms, spending Rs.975 again, plus to & fro taxi charges, mental & physical agony at the age of 76. There was no apology either from United or Air India staff.

United have sent me 200 dollars coupon valid for 17 months, though their email says valid for two years. In this period, if I do not travel by United airlines, compensation will be zero, due to their fault I have to change my travel from 27th to 29th April, due to this change I have to carry out RTPC test again, costing Rs.975, also, to fro transportation charges up to my residence & portal charges.& mental & physical agony I have to undergo at the age of 76.

I had bought a subscription for indian express for 6 months. The agent time and again sends messages that he can't deliver the newspaper citing various feason telling us to collect the same from milk booth. This is very wrong. I wish i would have not bought this paper instead. I would never again buy this because of irresponsible behaviour of your agent. [protected].

Indian express have written an article about me and my family without any evidence. They have picked that article from a social media website given by my ex-wife as part of revenge. The article contains me and my families private photos where i have not given permission.

As you will read, the content is highly libellous in its nature. As you will be aware, journalist in both the uk and india must adhere to the strict libel laws which govern the media publication and broadcast.

Claims published in this article making clear references to my professional career and are highly damaging especially giving the location of my work place which is a school and can endanger myself and the children i work with.

I have already contacted the uk police and reported this person under the malice’s communications act. I am also pursue a legal claim of harassment. A crime which if found guilt carried a prison sentence.

I did contact the journalist requesting for her to take it down but instead she passed the information over to a the journalist who is continuously harassing me on social media to continue to harass me. The article should be removed to to the legal reasons mentioned above.

Many times did not given a news paper. Today news papers not disbursed in thane because his son's marriage. While asking to him he rudely answered that he would return your year coupons tomorrow and asked loksatta officials to arrange vendor for you. How cruevel he talking while he is in happy movements. Fraud with the customer and loksatta office for undelivered news papers amount claimed. Before and today's undelivered papers in thane sera. The name of vendor is mr. Keshav shirke. I bought the subscription for a lokstta marathi newspaper on dated 18th september, 2018. But still i didn't get any cupons from your side. I waiting from last 2 months for a cupons. I talk to ur mer, he said, cupons will come as soon as but its still not came to me. This is my cheque no. 000002 (Bank of india) & this my acknowledgement no. 12738

I have subscribed the loksatta and The indian express news peper for a year from Nov/2015. As per the subscription the news paper should be delivered to Home on daily basis. However, the vendor is not delivering the news paper at home for those who have subscribe it form the company and not from him.
