This is with reference to the numerous telephonic follow-ups that I've done with the IT Depot offices over the past 2 months regarding the order that I had originally placed on 18-August-2014. The ordered product (Netgear PTV-3000 wireless adapter) costed Rs. 4955/- and was allegedly shipped from their offices but got lost in transit. Everytime I have called the customer care, I've been been told that IT Depot will get in touch with the courier company for claiming insurance. It has been over a month since the package was lost!
I AM NOT AT FAULT HERE. As per my understanding, whatever arrangement the IT Depot has for logistics or claiming insurance is their business. They are wrongfully holding my money against a product that they have not delivered till date.
After confirming from Ms. Subha from the customer care department, I have purchased the required product (Netgear PTV-3000 wireless adapter) from another online store.
I have put in a request to process the refund for the amount against the undelivered product (with shipping) but nothing has been done in this regard. I hope that I will not need to file a case in the Consumer Forum. Was this information helpful? |
