The Mobile Store — Mobile Store Extended Warranty Problem | |||
I have purchased a mobile(Nokia 1320) from mobile store(Sec 16 Faridabad Store) last year with extended warranty. On 6th July 2015, I have visited the Mobile store, with the complaint that phone as not getting up. The Mobile Store staff rejected my Bill copy and said that it is not cover under extended warranty. Then I tried to convince them and showed them different number(mentioned on bill). Finally after 1 hour they agreed(after lots of argument) and they accepted my phone an told me that it will take 1 week for repair, as i as to go to mumbai. Then there was no communication from Mobile Store, on 11th july I visited the Mobile Store office to inquire about my phone. Staff there had no clue regarding the phone. Finally they were able to track the phone from the drawer. For almost 6 days, my phone was not send for repair. Then I decided to take my phone back and I got it repaired from Nokia care(by paying Rs 2000). Then on the same day(11th Jult), I got a automated SMS from mobile store, that "We have recieved your NK Lumia 1320 for repair with request no #687745". Because of all this, I was force to buy a new phone(Rs 1500) and then pay for the repair(Rs 2000). Nokia care was able to identify the problem in 5 mins and phone was repaired in 1 hour. If we have to pay from repair then why we are paying for extended warranty.
