My Samsung S3 mobile, which I bought in Mobile stores, Velachery, Chennai on 22-Dec-2012, got stuck in start up logo on 25-Dec-2013 and I gave to Mobile stores for repair under extended warranty coverage. They sent my mobile for the head office in Mumbai for insurance verification. The insurance amount of Rs. 10000 got approved but after more than a month of no response, I queried them for status on Feb 5, 2014 and they said the handset could not be repaired by them and asked me to follow these steps.
1. The repair to be done only at brand authorized service centers(ASC).
2. The estimate and final invoice given by the ASC have to be in the same name as mentioned on the invoice issued by TMS
3. After you receive your repaired handset, send scanned copy and hard copy of the said ASC invoice to TMS office, along with your bank details (Name, bank name, account no., bank branch and IFSC code) for processing reimbursement
4. Payment will be made through NEFT/ RTGS directly into the account of the handset owner (name appearing on TMS invoice)
Till now I haven't got the mobile in my hand (Actually they were unable to do the repair and asked me to get it done by myself). On Feb 5, I spoke to the HR head of the service center in Mumbai and he said the mobile will reach me in 3 days time. But till now I haven't received the mobile yet. I spoke to the technician today and he said the handset is still in Noida and it will take another week's time for delivery. There is a clear communication gap between the service center guys. I'm really upset with their service and every time I had to make a call and they dont' even respond meticulously.
I'm planning to take the legal route if no response is provided in another week or so. Was this information helpful? |
