The Resume Search — Asking to pay the amount

I'm sivajyothi. Im having some financial problems in my family. So I thought it's a good time to find a part time. I get a job in this company as a part time. They explained about how the work to be done. But they didn't say anything about the penalty and payment. before signing the contract they said that just skip the agreement. And now they're are saying that u haven't done your work on time. You have to pay the amount of 5500. It's really huge amount for me. Then I came to know about that it's fake and fraudulent activity.
