Hi,
I was taking an insurance and the prerequisite was to get the medical test done. The insurance company booked the lab tests for me from their vendor namely THYROCARE. I got my lab test done from Thyrocare. In the tests, thyroid profile (TSH) was also done. When I received the reports at night, I was shocked to see that as per Thyrocare lab test I have thyroid (image of lap report attached) TSH was shown as 7.16! . I was under so much stress the whole night and couldn't wait for the night to get over. I couldn't sleep as well. It caused me a lot of mental stress and trauma as HypoThyroidism is not any ordinary problem. In the morning, I went straight to Dr.Lal Pathlabs and got my thyroid profile done again. I was so relieved after receiving the reports from such a trusted brand. I have attached their report as well. The TSH was 2.55 as compared to Thyrocare's report showing TSH as 7.16! All the markers for Thyroid were well within range. Seeing this, I raised this issue with my insurer who in turn raised the complaint with thyrocare. Representatives from Thyrocare did contact me but they didn't help me with an explanation as to why the marker for thyroid (TSH) was THREE times in their report as compared to Dr.Lal Pathlabs. I informed them that I was not happy and had a lot of stress.
Please take appropriate action on THYROCARE and help me get a compensation as an aggrieved customer who had been under a lot of stress.
