I contacted Timbl customer care for a new connection. Their representative came to my house next day to collect money for one month's fee(1200) + refundable deposit of Rs. 500 ( in lieu of Router device which they would install and at the time of surrendering the connection I would have to return the device for being eligible to get the refund.
I applied for connection on 10th April.
Connection was not installed till 16th April despite repeated calls from me to their customer care. Every time I would get a confirmation that connection would be installed.
Finally, seeing such poor response, I made a decision to not use their service and raised a request to cancel the connection application altogether and asked for a refund.
Again after almost a month of following up I received only 706 refund. Remaining rs 500 was not refunded.
To clarify again. Connection was not installed at my home and I did not use the service for even 1 day.

Event Timeline :
10th April 2019: 1207 paid to timbl representative for one month broadband
fee + 500 refundable deposit.
12th April 2019 : Customer Id created and received confirmation SMS .
16th April 2019 : Raised a request with customer care to cancel my connection application and refund the money.
18th May 2019 : 706 Refunded.
24th July 2019 : I sent last mail for the rest of the refund money and I have not received any response. Was this information helpful? |
