Hi! Am a very old patron of TOI and the subscription of my tabloid got expired on february 15 2015. I didn't receive any renewal calls from their end and when I calked them for the remewal I was assured that a person named Anthony would come to collect the cheque.. I waited for 2 days at my residence, called them agn and they gave me the same false hope..which made me wait further 2 days.. third time I called the same cust care girl who had assured the cheque collection came with a different reply i:e "Your account is closed". I asked why was it closed when the payment was always taken in advance..and if it was closed why did they make me wait 4 days in seperate calls in past. She gave me a complain number and hung up. I didnt receive any call. I called them again snd she said we cant assure when you would get a call as we are from subscription team and yours is a renewal issue. When I asked them to connect me with the renewal team, she denied it. After that spoke to another girl and told her the trauma i had to go through.. she assured it will be done asap. She called in the noon for the call verification (dunno what was her intention) and asked me "what is your problem "?. It was surprising as the same girl had heard my ordeal of renewal in detail. post verification she said it will be done in few days. I waited for a week. Called again and spoke to the incharge who too said that the account was closed but she will do the needful. Post that its been 5 days now still not a single call or solution over my renewal. except a futile strange call for verification. I am hugely disappointed by rhe subscription dept cust care ppl who have no concern over a readers subscription or calls, as never did they thought of reverting or admitting a mistake. Toi is a big newspaper..but sadly you lost a reader due to a very bad customer support.

i had paid the newspaper vendor 20 days money in advance for delivering daily news paper . but the vendor delivered newspaper onyfor two days .and then stopped delivering..i called him several times but he is not answering my call. his name is tiwari. and his mobile number is .[protected].this is duping the customer by falsely promising to deliver the newspaper .and not doing it. my name is haren pandit my address. 16-d nilgiri 3 sector 34 noida-201307 my.mobile number [protected]

I stay in Miyapur, Hyderabad and near sai ranga theatre. The colony is called Madhav nagar. For whole colony, there is one guy who supplies paper. His agency name is "HEMA SRI BOOK STALL". He is charging Rs10 for every news paper he gives with all consumers for a month. Though this is small amount, i want to understand if TIMES OF INDIA encourages the paper boys/agencies to collect the delivery charges...

My name is Ms. Shweta pant subcription No. 33516505, cheque given on 1st october 2014 but till date not recieved any booklet or subcription commencement coupon etc. moreover we are getting improper supply of paper most of the times the suppliment copies are not supplied to us such as times ascent, education & mostly times property. The complaints are already made more than 100 times to vendor Anil Singh ([protected]), Area Manager Mr. Neeraj ([protected]), Zonal Manager Mr. Raja ([protected]) but nobody is resolving the same we are highly harassed & disturbed because of this kindly help as i think your area distributor is very strong person because after so many complaints your area manager & zonal manager is not able to regularise the supply. Hi, I live in Ghatkoper, Mumbai and buy TOI monthly. The newspaper distributor is charging 20% extra for delivering TOI at door steps. When I inquired about the reason why? He said, all the distributors in Ghatkoper(W) are charging 20% extra so I am charging too. Dear Sir/Mam

I m reader of your newspaper (TOI) but sir news agency charged extra money from us. i.e. rate marked on the newspaper is Rs. 3/- or 4/- but News agency delivered it to us on an average Rs.6/- per day.

When we ask them to how you charged extra rate than he told it is due to freight.

But I m not satisfying with his reply bcoz if if it is reason than why not TIMES OF INDIA include such amount in Newspaper.

Pls clarify & do the needful.

Hi, I am Sanjay Mistry, shifted my residence from Nallasopara to Mira Road-Pin 401101.In first week of Nov.14 I had handed over my coupan for transfer, so that Times of India with ET could be delivered at my new address. Unfortunately till date the same is not done, I tried to speak with local distrubutors-Ganesh Paper Agency-[protected] /Rupesh [protected], but he replied that coupans are submitted to the concern department. Its almost four months now, but the issue is not resolved. Kindly help me by taking proper action against the irresponsible behaviour by concern agency and giving instruction to start delivering new paper immediately. 13.02.2015 Sir/ Madam, Subscribed forTimes Power Plus Offer (The Times of India + The Economic Times ) to begin paper supply from the month Dec 2014. Payment was made for the same vide cheque number 570420 ICICI bank of Rs. 909/- and Rs. 101/- in cash paid to Sh. Monu Mishra – the vendor. Paper was supplied for the month of Dec 2014 only and coupon for Dec'14 handed over to the vendor: Mr. Monu Mishra (depot Dilshad Garden II). However Supply of paper stopped from 01 Jan 2015. Vendor was informed about this but nothing was done. In fact had also approached me to supply "The Hindu" News paper for one year if I gave him a cheque of Rs. 1099/- for Mint + HT scheme (i.e He would supply The Hindu for one year in place of HT and Mint), which was denied by me, as I am a regular reader of TOI. Please enquire the matter as the vendor is luring readers away from The Times of India. Photos of Coupons supplied to me for the scheme period are attached here with for your ready perusal. In view of the above the scheme for me may please be extended for a period that suitably covers the period for which paper was not supplied (from 01Jan 2015 to Till Date). I still have the subscription coupon for Jan 2015 with me. Further a disciplinary action may be initiated again such errant vendors and a copy of such action be sent to me. Suitable compensation be also be paid back to me. Please resolve the issue at the earliest. Our newspaper agency -Narender News Agency Sector-57 Rail Vihar has not delivered newspaper since 3 days saying there is no supply in Sector -57.What needs to be done now. He is not picking up the phone now .As a citizen it is our right to receive the paper. Kindly look into the matter and revert back

on 28 jan 2015 your marketing person came and requested to take subscription as the special offer 2years subscription for Rs. 250/- and told that we will receive the paper from 1 Feb 2015 onwards. But, till now no paper is that guy from your marketing team or a cheater please conform me. my mail id : [protected]@gmail.com and my cell no [protected].

I have been a subscriber of TOI from last 20 years. TOI and Navbharat times has individual prices of Rs 5/5.50 and Rs 3 respectively, but combo cost Rs 7 on weedays and Rs 7.50 on Sat & Sunday. But recently vendors have started collecting individual prices for both, and on checking he said that he has received the orders from TOI executive for the same. I asked him for the contact and he gave a contact# [protected] of Mr. Sanjay (TOI Executive). But this number is switched off from last 1 week. Can anyone clarify that has TOI asked vendors to collect this individual amounts irrespective of Newspapaer has the printed price of 7/7.50 for combo. And who is the person to contact if TOI has not instructed any such thing.

First of all let me tell all concerned that this is not a complaint but an appeal.Since no other site to ventilate my problem could be found I use this channel, for which I may be pardoned. I subscribed to both TOI & Ei Samay vide my subscription no.[protected] and [protected] respectively for 12 months and 6 months.. I have so far used only one coupon for each daily. Times of India is priced @ Rs.6 with Mumbai Mirror or The Economic Times or Maharashtra Times. However, no vendor on the road side or railway stations supplies Times of India with Econmic Times or Maharashtra Times and the customer is forced to accept Mumbai mirror. The vendors tell the customer to write to Times of India to supply the Times of India with either of these two papers - Economic Times or Maharashtra Times and the same will then can be had AT HOME. This is unethical marketing practice forcing the customer to buy what he does not want that too with payment. Economic Times is priced at Rs.3 and Rs.6 with Times of India, but the vendors at railways station and on the road refuse to sell Times of India with Econmic Times. I am sure, this would the be the case with Marashtra Times. Nergish Nariman

I have subscribed to TIMES OF INDIA news paper vide my order No. NAO 012809 dated 10 02 2014. Newspaper is not delivered to me from 10 12 2014. Despite my several complaints on the customer care telephone number no action has been taken. This is the 2nd time during this subscription period that newspaper delivery is stopped.

Local vendor is distributing me daily Times Of India not giving full pages as mentioned & also not distributing the Economic Times along with Times Of India, printed & distributed from Kolkata;though I am paying Rs..6/- daily for combined packages of Times Of India along with Economic Times. I am a consumer at Midnapore district town West-Bengal.I have requested Local vendor to look into the matter & give me full pages of Economic Times along with Times Of India, printed & distributed from Kolkata.He failed to comply my request.Till now I have to pay more money. It is very disappointing that Times Of India, Kolkata has no full address of Kolkata office of Times Of India & any address for consumer redressal of complaints in any pages of printed Times Of India newspaper. My complaints against Times Of India group kolkata to look into the matter, so that the consumers of Times Of India in Midnapore district can get full pages of Economic Times along with Times Of India, printed & distributed from Kolkata & return me the extra money taken for a long time. My name is dinesh belakare.I saw that TOI has published my news in TOI on 2nd of may 2014.I just wanted to know, do you have any evidence for this.There wasn't any abusive mail sent by me.And the email address we talking about was not official email address as it was gmail account.The company owner hacked into this account just before filing police complaint and tried to destroy evidences.And he also lied about my attendance.I have evidences to prove this in court and I am on it.But how can you print news without any evidences.Your news has spoiled my career.If you have any clarification on this, then please explain it, otherwise if my lawyer found this clarification unsatisfactory, we will sort this out in court.
