7 months back I have subscribed for Times Of India News Paper for 6 months and completed the time period. Again one month back I have paid the amount for Times of India news paper & I received for 2 weeks only. Later I am not receiving any paper (since 2 weeks), if I called the concern person they replying as they will check it. But still no proper response. And in first 6 months also I didn't received paper for a week.

I am a regular user of times of india news paper from past 15years. i am the resident of mahesh nagar, near gudimalkapur market. i have subscribed 6 months/200rs offer. From last few days paper boy is giving Deccan cronicle paper instead of times of india. some times he is not giving paper at all. i have informed him. still the result is same.

i am requesting you to take action as soon as possible.

If Times of India unable to start (daily news paper) subscription copy to me then please refund my payment Rs.991/- a waiting your reply.

I have registered for yearly subscription for Times Of India(TOI), second year am renewal for the same @ INR 299. But this year local News paper agent asked to pay extra amount INR 240 per annul. Which is close to annual subscription for the paper. when in renewal my subscription I did't get any info for the extra charge distribution to an agent.
I have asked many times to the local TOI news paper agent, They hav't give any proper reason but still they want extra money for distribution. I had delayed two weeks for issue subscription @ INR 240, but the sane time they hav't issue my paper... At last i had given half yearly charge @INR 120, After that only am getting the papers.. This is worst Distribution, Per month Distribution cost INR 20, for the paper INR 25..
If This is so why are we not informed when Renewal happen. we could have avoid TOI will go some other news papers..

I have been a regular reader of English newspapers for the last 66 years since I was 6 years old. My late Dad was instrumental in getting me to read the popular English newspaper then i.e. The Indian Express in the fervent hope that I would improve my knowledge of English although my mother tongue is English being an Anglo-Indian. Nowadays all sorts of English newspapers are being produced and the himalayan blunders that they commit in their write ups will soon make a person forget the little English one knows. I have been reading the Times of India for the last 9 months and the number of mistakes that I have found is so disgusting and nauseating. For instance today there is a write up that states - "cremated body of infant resurfaces mysteriously". How can a cremated person resurface? Are you so ignorant that you don't understand the meaning of "cremation." The Oxford English Dictionary states that "cremation is to burn a corpse to ashes". How then can a cremated person resurface? In another item of news it states that "they conducted searches in the residences of their houses." What a laugh! Don't "residence" and "house" mean one and the same thing? You are strutting about and shouting and publishing that your paper is the "numero uno" among readership, perhaps among people who have very little or no knowledge of English. On top (2) you state "check text spelling before submitting" does it not apply to you? Are your proof readers so poor in English that they don't know what sort of himalayan blunders are being committed and being published? You are a laughing stock among people like me who are submerged in the English language and I am sure that there are 1000s of people like me. It is totally unforgivable for a paper of your standard, that too now "numero uno" (sic) to publish such sort of rubbish and nonsense. It is even more highly disgraceful to allow such blunders to be printed and published. Hope you will be more careful atleast in the future.

in spite of continuous complaints done over phone and emails , my subscription and issuance of daily news paper not restored, today also not delivered/ distributed, i really curse all people sitting there and heal all people directly and indirectly involved in this, this will invite huge losses and all sort of difficulties to all of you in times of India who are directly and indirectly involved in this indecent behavior..

Since the publication of Times of India from Nagpur, I am customer/reader of TOI. I pay the regularly. Our colony is located 8 kms away from the District place Chandrapur. We get news paper from Ratan News Agency, Chandrapur Maharashtra. I am getting the news paper delivery daily at about 10 am which is too late for any news paper reader. After my going to office at 10 am news paper arrives. After many complaints, Ratan News Agency informed that they cannot delivery the paper before 9:30 am. Times of India office of Nagpur should initiate action against this vendor. The boy who comes for collecting monthly bill comes well before 8 am but delivery boy of news paper comes at 10 am. What a tragedy and what a worst service.

We have subscribed for Times of India Chennai Edition for the past few years. We live in AnnaNagar Thirumangalam.
THe dealer Mr. Shanmugam is not very regular. YOu never know when he will deliver the paper. Last two days it was delayed today no paper. Called him and he promised to send it but did not do so. In a month he delivers normally only around 10 days. Rest of the time you are lucky if you get it as expected. Repeated complaints to Times has not helped in any way.

I live in vashi ,navi Mumbai since 1989. Initially we subscribed times of india and lokkmat news papers. then Times of india started running a campaign where in along with times of india consumer can choose between Economics times or Mumbai mirror or Maharashtra times. But our news paper vendor charges us for Maharashtra times as well. When confronted he said that even though the times of India has printed that one can have a copy of Economics times or Mumbai mirror or Maharashtra times, one still has too pay. This way we end up paying extra for that which we are supposed to be free of cost.

You may know some one call you at your office or home and inform you that he is from Times of India wearing a T-Shirt on which Times of India symbol or name printed.He will inform you that they TOI is offering an annual subscription offer and try to collect that amount ONLY by cheque in the name of Bennet coleman and co Ltd. After that no one will be responsible for delivering the paper to you. If you call them they simply assures to look into that matter within 48 hours. If call back again another person will assure you to solve the issue within 24 hours. At last some of your friends will request a paper vender to deliver the paper.He will do that for sometimes alone. Then he will not response you properly for non delivery of the paper. We have two flats within Dwarka, Delhi (In Sector-22 and Sector-23), where a newpaper vendor titled "Udar News Agency" delivers the news paper. We have subscribed for Times of India. Every month the Vendor charges different monthly charges ranging from Rs. 130 in Sector-23 to Rs. 145 in Sector-22. Request for clarifications are met with rude response by the Vendor. It will be really help ful to understand from Times of India, the exact monthly price for the paper subscription (including any breakup of charges). Kindly take some action against this Vendor who is charging exhorbitant prices and is making money in terms of volumes.

13th June 2012. Till date I have not received the coupons and have to answer the delivery boy that I have not received it from TOI office yet... ITS
already 2months....

Everyday I need to call TOI Subscription office and after trying 10-15 times of no answer rings, one customer care person will pick up
and say I will get the coupons in 2days/3 days/1week... its already despatched... it was sent to a wrong address and bounced... blah blah
blah....

I need the status and what happened to the coupons. why there is a delay? After having paid the money,why should i cut a sorry figure in front
of the delivery boy every morning??????

I had subscribed for annual copies of TOI news paper. However my vendor was not reqular and I was not getting news paper. I complained to TOI help line.They asked me to give details of new vendor and changed my vendor. My new vendor was regular and I was getting news paper regularly for one month. After a lapse of one month the new vendor stopped paper saying that he has not received coupons from TOI.I frequently contacted TOI help line to know the status of coupons as my new vendor was asking me to pay money for one month services they have given to me by putting news paper at my residence.AT last I requested TOI help line to refund me my money in 1st week of july.I was assured that my request has been forwaded and I will get refund by end of july.I was surprised to know on 31.07.2012 that my request is not processed and help line did not know the status of my refund.They asked me to contact again tomorrow.

TOI help line do not have any couetsey even to give me the feed back call,however they say they will do so but they don't do it.
