Hi,
This is Sylvester from Chennai.
My parents reside at Trichy, Tamil Nadu and have subscribed for the annual subscription of the English daily paper.

But from 16th of Last month, they have not received the papers and the delivery person refuses to deliver the paper and is demanding for extra charges on a monthly basis to deliver the paper at the given address of No:6, Nehru Street, Ponmalaipatti, Trichy 620004.

This is not the first time this is happening since they faced the same issue last year as well.
We have heard that the delivery guys is rude to other people as well in our locality.
We have already lost 1 months subscription and need a immediate solution to this and it better be a permanent one considering the status and reach of your publication.

If this needs to be taken to a higher level or a different channel to be looked into, kindly advise the same.

If i need to make a formal complaint on this, i don't mind as well.

Hello sir/mdam i am sai krishna I have recently taken a new subscription ! But am not getting news paper regularly ! And the paper boy speaking very rudely and my form number is SHT27917435 ! Please sort out the issue

I had taken the Subscription of TOI at my address but now i have shifted my residence to a new address and i want to update my delivery address as no one stays at my old address. Kindly help me with changing the place of delivery.

I live in Daman. I came to this place in April '21. With much difficulty I could find a Vendor to give me TOI at my doorstep from Dec 01. To my surprise I do not get Economic Times or Maharashtra times from Monday to Saturday and Sunday Mumbai mirror or Ravivar Maharashtra times on Sundays for the price of Rs. 7 from Monday to Saturday and Rs. 8 on Sundays. According to the vendor this facility is only for those living in Mumbai. This leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Any justification? Hard to digest.

I have an ads-free subscription, but still getting the ads in between the stores. It is annoying.

Unable to copy the stories into my notepad...getting error

I have placed my prepaid order for economics times on 25th Oct 2022. I have not received first copy of paper yet, it's almost a month now.

I have reached multiple times to customer care and always they were saying we have forwarded your request to Pune team. No one from Pune team have contacted me on this issue and didn't even respond to my email.

I kindly request you to please look into this matter urgently and solve the issue as soon as possible. Looking forward to hearing from you. It's causing me a lot of stress and frustratarion even after it's prepaid order.

If you don't want to give newspaper then please cancel my subscription and refund my money ASAP.

My subscription was due on 26th Nov 2022. Hence, the company Times of India had sent me a email informing me of the same and further had asked me to renew the services before 26th Nov 2022.
I renewed the same online and received the receipt of the same.
However, when I try to log in, it doesn't log in. Infact, it asks me to again pay for and renew my subscription.

Am sorry to let you know that despite repeated complaints we are not getting the newspaper delivered daily.If complaint is lodged next three tour das we would get paper properly.Again the delivery would stop.if at apl delivered, it is given after 10am or sometimes afternoon or evening. I have been a subscriber to times of India as well as the Economic Times since 2018, i.e from the very moment Times Group came up with yearly subscription plan. My customer id is [protected]. I reside at Dahisar, Mumbai, locality. I had been renewing the subscription regularly through online payments to Times group as advised by their agent Shri Sachin Tare.

While seeking subscription from me both Shri Sachin Tare as well as vendor Shri Pradeep had visited my residence explaining that the subscription is inclusive of delivery and no additional delivery charges would apply. Accordingly, both the newspapers i.e The Times of India as well as The Economic Times had been regularly delivered to me since the subscription started, without any separate delivery charges.

However, my vendor Mr Pradeep has stopped delivery of both newspapers ie Times of India as well as Economic Times since Sunday 6th November 2022, demanding additional delivery charges for the last two years.

Abrupt stopping the delivery of newspaper even though I have valid subscription from Times group would amount to deficiency of service as well as breach of trust and cheating.

I have been an annual subscriber of TOI and ET for the past few years.This year, my renewals are in this month of Nov and I had very clearly indicated to them that I am out of the country for a few months starting Oct 2022 and not to trouble me for the renewal and that I will return to India and renew.Inspite of it, I have been getting multiple call, SMS's, emails, whatsapp messages...damn it, dont I know what I have to do.I am in a different time zone and I start getting continous calls from 4am in the morning.Such insensitive and stupid guys.I will defenitely press charges for harassment.

I have subscribed times of india from Jan to Dec 2022 through online.My location is Bopal, ahmedabad. My paper agent is not distributing the times of india newspaper regularly. Because I have not susbribed the news paper from him. Today when I asked about the newspaper he was answered very rude manner and also said that I wont give you the newspaper. The Times of India Newspaper vendor in SURENDRANAGAR, charging residents for newspaper price in excess of that mentioned on Newspapers. Vendor is charging 220Rs per month. Agency name is vashu newspaper service. Invoice photo is attached. When I inquired about the excess charge he said that we are only getting a high price from the main agency at Ahmedabad.

money debited from my paytm account on 28th august 2022 inr 749/- (screen shot shared) refund this money so tha i stop calling your company.
customer service deptt. keep on repeating to wait for few more days and give standard reply that complaint has been escalated to concern dept. and they will call me.
i have been waiting from the last two months to get a call from your end.
are you going to resolve this issue? if not just refund my money back . i don't want to deal with unprofessional company like yours.

I have called TOI regarding the change of my new address but no one redressed to my complaint either through mail or customer care. Their customer care people re so worse that they are not able to pick up calls or make a callback. They neither respond to the mails. I have subscribed for a period of 12months . I am Naganathan Ganesa and my contact number is [protected]. I have subscribed for Times of India News Paper directly with the company. Hence, the TOI is supposed to deliver the News Paper on time. However, I am not getting the News Paper before 8.30 am and on some days, like today, I don't get the News Paper also. Inspite of several compalints this has not been resolved. Their local contact number at Chennai doesn't work or no one attends the call.

Hope TOI will take this compalint seriously and resolve the issue.

I paid Rs.988/- on 28.03.22. as new subscription for subscribing to the Times of India newspaper in Times of India website portal. . But till now I have not received the newspaper. Though I contacted many times through email and telephone, I have not received any response. My contact no.[protected]. I am enclosing the proof of payment.

I have subscribed TOI online for a year and now delivery Agency (Person – Rajkumar – [protected]) is asking for delivery charges over and above the subscription which is 30/- per month and 360/- per annum. When I asked there is no mention about this at TOI online and the delivery charges are inclusive, he said it is not and go ahead talk to whoever in TOI. He was also suggesting that we should not get the subscription online and should be done through their Agency only. I think this is not at all acceptable.

I took this matter to TOI Area Manager – Devender Kumar Devangan – [protected] and to my surprise he is suggesting me that delivery charges needs to be given as TOI has communicated to them that this matter needs to be resolved between customer and Delivery Agency only. It seems he is aware of this fact that delivery agency is mulling unjustified money from the customer and he is hands in glove.

There is nothing that TOI online suggest that after paying subscription fee, customer has to enter in to a separate contract with delivery agency. This is really not true and I want you to confirm immediately as I need to take it up to the next level for this wrong doing.

It has become a routine problem of getting the delivery of your edition very late in the morning. The delivery agent delivers the paper at 8am or 8.30am daily. I have made countless complaints to your Times of India group but till now it's not solved. I feel now I have made a great mistake of payment of subscription annually. The delivery man behaves in an adamant and arrogant way and asked me to make a complaint to the times group. I can't argue with an indecent man who does not hear me. You please take strict action against the distributor and the delivery agent. You can even dishonour my subscription coupon. I have made the payment till 31st January 2023. If the problem is not solved I am thinking of changing the paper to some other news paper even I am at loss. No one is checking whether the paper is reaching the customer on-time. There is absolutely no coordination between your institution and the distributor and the delivery agent. With a heavy heart I register this unwanted complaint.
