I am unemployed and desperately looking for a job. I received a call from Times Job saying for a job opportunity based on my resume.
I was asked to pay an mount of INR 2, 124/-. There was no mention that I need to pay any additional amount. So, thinking that it is not a a big amount, I made the payment. Once that was done, they asked another amount for create some ID of INR 9, 438/-. This repeated thrice and eventually I ended up paying a total amount of INR 40, 850/- (break up - 2124 + 9438 + 13688 + 15600).
This payment thing didn't stop here. They were asking for more 12000 of payment which I denied and asked for refund to which they said that they will manage with this amount. (clearly showing that there is no fixed process).
Before the mounts were paid, I was receiving calls almost every hour with offers and interviews. After the payment of the money, every time, I have to call to follow up and at times there is hardly any response.
I'm still waiting for my refund.
