I am Sai Gayatri, and I recently registered for a membership on your platform after being contacted via phone by a person named Pooja, who claimed to be from TimesJobs. I was asked to pay Rs. 1800 for a registration fee, which I did.

Following this, I was contacted by another individual named Mr. Dixit, who introduced himself as a Relationship Manager from TimesJobs. He demanded an additional Rs. 3800 for certification verification...

Complaint Against TimesJobs for Failure to Cancel Subscription and Continued Charges

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against TimesJobs regarding their refusal to cancel my subscription despite multiple requests. The details are as follows:

1. I subscribed to TimesJobs services on 09 October 2024 for hire employees but as they committed that we will get so many responses but it wasn't true that's i am not satisfied with their service and not getting responses from candidates on my post.

2. I requested cancellation of the subscription on 10th October 2024, but the company failed to act on my request.

3. I continue to be charged for the service, which I no longer wish to use. The repeated requests to resolve this matter have been ignored.

This refusal to cancel the subscription and the continued charges are causing financial loss and mental stress. I kindly request the court to intervene and direct TimesJobs to:

Cancel my subscription immediately.

Refund any charges incurred after the initial cancellation request.

Provide compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss.

There was an employee named "Payal" who CALLED ME FROM THIS NUMBER : [protected] -- She asked me whether i was searching for job or not, i sensed it was to sign me up for some consulting services ((similar to naukri/shine job portals)), so i told her that i would manage job search on my own and didn't need any professional guidance/consulting, so she straight away told me to delete my profile?

And WHY should i delete my profile if i want to search job without availing professional guidance/consulting services?? UNPROFESSIONAL Bhevaiour ((also, my lumia mobile automatically records all the calls, so i have the audio recording of this phone conversation too)).

Full of scam calls, i lost my money because of this times.com, and waste of time applying for a job in this .
I lost my amount three times, here first i go with kendriya vikas vigan...they call me saying that they provide a semi govt job by writing a exam so for that I have the amount for abt 1650 first then after my exam completion they called me after 20 days and said I got selected and a offer letter was been mailed from their side saying that i can join after my 15 days of online training ..with police verification and medical check up for that I have to pay 4950..finally after my payment they send me a link for training cls but the link is not getting downloaded.
I call through the number they gave me in the offer letter and the number they call me ...but no use they are not picking my call ...I tried for several times.

I have a grievance and I would like to address it.

For the job confirmation and for clearing all the profiles I had paid more than 3 lakh of rupees, not including the registration. I am sure this much of amount is not required for the same. My relationship manager Mr Sanjay Kumar also promised me that the 52, 500 rupees was the last transaction that was to be made and then I will get the direct email from Bijus within 30 mins. But after that he told me that I will have to pay 10% of annual income that byju's promised me, which will come to nearly 3 lakhs of rupees, as security deposit. No institution should charge this much amount to any individual and I am sure byju's does not require all that profile clearance from me because I am very experienced; maybe just some 50000 maximum that I need to pay instead I have paid more than 3 lakhs. And apart from this I am asked for a 10 percent of lpa which means another 3 lakh. Unfortunately I do not have this much amount to pay and I feel nobody should ask of this big amount. So I requested him to cancel the job offer and give me back all the amount that I have paid. He said my money is safe and it will surely be returned except the registration amount of about 6000 rupees, within 45 to 90 working days. I said then please process the reimbursement. He first said okay. After that he keeps calling me and asking me to change my mind and to consider the offer again and to somehow arrange some money to pay the 10% of LPA. I tried for various options but unfortunately I see that I am not able to pay this amount. I told him that if you offer me the offer letter I will go for the face to face interview that he said was confirmed in bijus Mangalore office, I would get a job and Times job will get their cut from the employer. Unfortunately he is not agreeing to this. Finally he asked to pay at least half the amount which will be about 1.5 lakh. I told him I am not ready to pay a single many more because I already paid much more than what is required to get the job. So I told him either give me the direct email from Bijus or just reimburse all the amount I paid, and I'll have to withdraw from the offer. Then he said that if you do that you only will be reimbursed 50% of all what I paid at remaining 50% will be kept by Times job. So you see he is changing his words every now and then. I cannot trust him anymore and I cannot trust Times jobs either. Kindly assigned a new relationship manager who will deal with this more efficiently. But please be sure that I am not going to pay a single paise more. So either send me the recruitment letter or reimburse me all the amount. I want us matter decided by tomorrow. I already spent two weeks worrying over this without having proper sleep and in vain trusting Mr Sanjay Kumar all along.

I have an account on timesjobs but it wasn't active all these years. As now I'm seeking job I reactivated it and the very next day I started getting spam calls. Whole day these scammers troubled me claiming they're calling from some or the other consultancy and my CV is shortlisted for some or the other role. As I am actively applying for jobs I need to pick up all the calls because it might be a call from a "real Recruiter" trying to reach me. But to my disappointment these were all fake calls. I can immediately recognize fake calls by the way they speak and try to convince you to apply for the position. Just wasted my time while I was at work and had important things to do. This is all timesjobs fault because yall should have some restrictions to whom you are sharing the candidate contact information with. How are these scammer easily getting our CV and contact numbers and have the audacity to call us in the middle of the day to waste our time. Highly disappointed with timesjobs lack of security to our contact information. Never had such a bad experience from any other Job board.

It has been brought to my notice that my profile lacks security from the end of Timesjob, which is a dangerous and major glitch. Despite logging out of my profile after every use, I again end up on my profile without having to login in. It has come to my notice that time job is letting third parties open up my profile without confirming any login or any security check. The profile comprises of extremely confidential information and no party can have access/login to my profile without seeking login credentials. This security glitch is dangerous and can have alarming repercussions on my personal information and me as well.
TimesJob cannot be unprofessional and careless, or negligent to this level and act in violation of laws. I am getting notifications concerning applications I have never applied to, my resume is being sent to random agencies, etc. and the same is highly shocking and scary.

There has been no action from their end, except for raising ticket numbers.

Some one called to my husband today i.e. 12th Sept 2022 said that they are from times jobs and he should register with them for better job opportunities from big companies for that registration need to pay Rs.100 he said ok i will pay as call is from times jobs. the person asked him that are you doing payment from mobile or laptop, he said mobile so he gave one payment url. www.timesjobsregistrations.in and trying to do payment from credit card.
fortunately the payment was declined as he as only Rs.19000 credit limit.

Received sms from bank that trxn Rs. 19896.80 is declined due to insufficient limit. we were trying to pay only 100 but its showing 19000+ amount then we came to know that its a fraud call, thank god we are saved from this scam.

After registering in Timesjobs I am getting fake calls continuously from various numbers asking for processing charges ₹100. Since I doubted and said them to send an official mail, they started abusing me.
Also I didn’t register in career index website but they took information from Timesjobs and asking for money with fake offers.
Kindly take necessary strict action in order to avoid these kind of frauds.

I have been receiving multiple calls per day regarding loans and credit cards, on further checking with the people who is calling me on regular basis, it was mentioned the my data they got from times jobs website, which is intended for job seekers and employers.

I had posted for job requirement on online recruitment portals, got a call stating from Timesjobs sent me a mail that interview is scheduled with Standard Chartered bank, asked to pay Rs 6500 for consultancy charges on 06.06.2022. Got interview calls and mail that I am selected. Asked to pay for Management course to get offer letter, paid Rs 28320 for it on 10.06.2022. Then after they again asked to pay other charges for background verification, and I stopped it asking for refund, they said it will be refunded in 4 working days. Now they are not responding in mails and the agent call number [protected] is switched off.
Please help me get my money back.

Sir I am an unemployed person. I cannot get a job. Sir I am a poor person 26 years old, and belong a poor family sir.
In these circumstances I am registered your company site to getting a job sir.

Because your company sent a job offers mail, these mail has (( placement agency job, company - mother dairy, contact- [protected], back office job)). Sir I calling these number, madam tell me give 300/- ruppes for registration, then processing others not yet, and tell our company is closed due to lockdown, all processing are via online. ( office address- saltlake, sector-v, Kolkata, wb, india)

** sir these is fraud. Sir please think unemployed youth mind. And sent a original company job letter.

In Dec 2014, I received a call from times jobs ensuring me that I will get job with better package, and once I agreed they started asking me to pay some extra money for every service. I paid the some of 40, 000 and then they said the financial year has ended and now I need to pay again for the same service.

Today I got another call from Times job for the same service if I am interested in job change.

I would like to complaint this and If possible please return my money.
