I bought a Titan Raga series watch (variant number 2376SM02) from 'World of Titan, South City Mall, Kolkata' on 27th of September 2009 as a gift for my wife and I believe that both me and my wife have been mistaken in our expectations of quality standards and service from the brand and the group behind the brand.

In good faith we didn't check the watch properly during delivery and on returning home found the watch to be not working and its glass scratched.
My wife visited the shop the very next day and they were not in a position to replace the watch as according to them they had only one piece of the variant and could not commit any time frame.
After following up with them over phone regularly, the shop manage informed us a similar watch has come.

On visiting them on 2nd of Oct'09, the offered watch was found to be of different variant and this time they offered only to replace the machine citing the watch was scratched. I got the machine changed as otherwise the watch was effectively of no use. They have refused to change the glass.

This entire episode has left us feeling cheated and causing mental agony. Me and my wife have a fetish for watches and between us we own about a dozen of Titan watches. We had great faith in the World Of Titan Chain and in the brand. The entire episode is making us lose faith over the brand.

Moreover, I would highlight that their level of customer service is just opposite when we approached them for repair/replacement compared to sales. Also I had to wait for a long time for the machine replacement whilst customers buying were given preference for adjusting their bands.

The entire purpose of the gift during the Durga Puja was defeated by this entire episode and spoilt our mood.

We seek your assistance for readdressal in this and suitable justice done.

nobody can buy a watch without seeing properly. not only you if some one buying a 100 rupee watch also he will see 10 times before buying wheather is there any scratches is there on the glass or elsewhere.

    I bought specs from Titan Eye+. When I wear the specs all objects appear short. I fill acute irritation when I wear specs. Company charged me 9,160 Rs. for my specs. Just after purchase of the specs I found markeble damage on frame and minor scratches on glasses. Now they are not intertaining me on my complaints. Please take action Agains Titan Eye+.

    I totally aggree with Mr. Rathod. Titan Eye+, Raipur (C.G.) is totally fail. They are making fool to their customers. Consumer forum should take hard action against The Firm/Compony.

      I have brought a Fastrack wrist watch on 27 June ‘09 from Mumbai & after only 3 months the brazel ring on the dial of the watch got detached from the watch. I gave the watch to Fastrack for repairs & they took 15 days to repair it. After repairs when i started using it, within 10 days, again the brazel ring got detached from the watch & got lost somewhere. The Brazel ring improves the aesthetic value of the watch & without it the watch is worthless. Now the watch is looking dull & unappealing & is of no use to me. The main reason why I choose a Fastrack watch is for the looks, which are distant now.On the very first page of Fastrack warranty card they have bragged about their modern manufacturing facilities & various other things but the reality is quite different.

        I purchased my glasses on 21.11.2008 from Dadar showroom. My invoice no is 11000209, Sales order no. TMDA000230 and Customer Code is CAM0000168. I spent Rs.8, 835/- for a very poor quality product. As a Ex-Tata Employee I had a great respect for Tata Brand & I sincerely thought that Titan Eye Care is run by a team of professionals who would certainly deal with their consumers in a very professional way. But I was proved quite wrong. I bought spectacles -“Stepper” make & Lens are XECTRCG - Lens RX TRAN ESSILOR, which the sales person told as they are best.
        The coating on the specs started peeling off within six months. Also, I was not comfortable wearing the glasses as there seemed to be a blurred vision.On showing the same to the concerned person at the showroom, They promissed me that they will replace the faulty lens. After too much followup and 6-7 personal visit and fighting they gave me a replaced lens on 04.06.2009. They took almost 24 days for the replacement.
        The worst part is now the same lens coating has again peeled off. I went to Dadar showroom, to my surprise, the showroom has been shut down. Now I am worried & very angry with my decision on buying this product from Tatas. I have got the same bad service and very careless attitude from the showroom staff like others.
        Now the question is The certificate from your company which says that the lenses have been made according to standards and have been certified? So where is the quality of my lenses. My eyes were put at a stake as I am still wearing the peeled off coating lens. The coating for the lenses and the frames are definitely substandard, which in other words is definitely cheating.
        I sincerely request Titan Eye + to look in my problem & help me in getting the right quality product ASAP.Please also let me know where can I visit as the Dadar showroom is shutdown.

          My wife bought me a Titan Fastrack watch on our anniversary. She already confirmed with the staff if required, it can be exchanged. As I had already set my eyes on an other model, I and my wife went to the store at The World of Titan, Malhotra Enterprises, 33-34, Shipra Mall, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad 201012 and requested for an exchange, which they agreed. However, an elderly man, probably the owner, categorically stated the exchanged watch should NOT be less in price than the one we had already bought. We agreed to it. He already seemed upset about something and his behavior was not that of a good seller. We ignored it. The salesman was preparing the new bill. We were kept waiting for good 15-20 minutes. I asked the man why is it taking him so much time. Before he could say anything, the elderly person just shot at me, saying don't you see he working. I asked him very politely, sir, this is not how you talk to your costumers and to my surprise, he answered that he had not asked us to buy watch from his shop and we can leave if we want to. I was very surprised and taken aback and then he went on to say, today's generation do not have patience and they do not know how to talk. I was waiting there for 15-20 minutes. I think that was quite a patience on my part. His staff tried to pacify him but he was uncontrollable. I repeatedly told him, sir, please give your valuable customers some request and to not talk in unruly manner and I also told him that I am not used to such comments and had he been of my age, I would have taught him a lesson. His behavior was very unruly and not warranted for. I was very disappointed by this. We were there to celebrate our anniversary and it turned out to be a bad one because of this elderly man, who probably thought he is obliging us to sell us his product.

            HAS TATA BECOME A GOVT. ENTERPRISE?

            This is the second such incidence with TATA (after Tata Indicom Photon+).

            I ordered a pair of spectacles for my cousin on 04/09/09 with the details mentioned below.

            1. They were supposed to be delivered on 07/09/09 (Monday). Nothing happened.
            2. On Wednesday 09/09/09 I went to the store. They told me its not ready and will be delivered the next day (10/09/09).
            3. Nothing happened on 10/09/09
            4. On 11/09/09 I again called up. The store people told me they will call. The call did not come through. So, I called up again and they told me it would be delivered the same day within 8 pm at my premises.

            Till today I haven’t received my spectacles. So, have you taken us for granted? Whenever you will deliver the product, we will take it. There was no communication from the store’s side regarding the delay; not even a single call was made to us. This is the service from TATA owned brand!

              Hi I have bought 2 pairs of glasses from Titan eye + Spencer plaza, Chennai.

              1st Delivery: A rimless glass needs special attention. It was delivered with bad a alignment. I immediately went back.I explained it the problem, but the store manager wasn't paying attention and blindly saying there is no problem and gave me the tool free to register a complaint(Mr.Attitude). I had to loose my nerves to make him understand the issue. Finally they took a service request for a new glass they just delivered (yeah funny !).

              2nd Delivery:I got the glass and this time is even worse, the alignment wasnt changed much for my comfort. Just the nose pad was adjusted.

              A.The glass had a minor tamper / crack
              B. Also i noticed the holes in each of the glasses are not equal height which is technically wrong


              I checked with other shops about this problem with the intent to solve this. But they said its an obvious issue which deserves a complete replacement.

              I just don't want Titan eye+ to read and contact me. I need 100% replacement for those glasses.

              The Eye check up camp which was organized at our Regional office Kolkata
              On 14th August 09.
              Here I have got my eyes checkup they prescribed for a optical.
              I purchased from –RTA RETAILING PVT.LTD, 7A, ELGIN ROAD KOLKATA
              Accidentally on 2nd Sep-09 optical Lens was broken. I enquired in the shop and handed over the Spectacle.
              They told me that they would inform me on third day.
              But after 3days they returned without repairing saying that it can’t be repaired .
              They advised me to purchase new one with 5% discount.
              I want to bring your kind attention that they have misguided me.
              Simultaneously I have gone to other shop and they ensured to repair the same .
              They have repaired my spectacle.
              Can “t be changed on the basis of warranty period?
              I requested to Titan Shop to repair the spectacle and told them if any damaged I was ready to pay.
              Once again I want to bring your kind attention that Titan Eye Show room have not shown their interest for the Group Company Cutomers.
              It is an embarrassing situation .
              Kindly look into the matter and resolve the matter as soon as possible.
              What about the local customer. I am attaching the purchasing bill with this letter.

              Titan Eye+ — Irresponsible Company

              Titan Eye+ is a black spot on the face of India. This is the most irresponisble company with TATA brand name.

              Vengala Yujandhar a Titan Eye+ manager with employee code 752203 is a hopeless person sitting in the Titan Eye + shop at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. He has no respect for customers and considers himself as God. With people like Vengala Yujandhar, Titan Eye+ can never satisfy customers. I hope Tata will consider employing more responsible people for customer interface.

              After dealing with Vengala, I donot want to use any of TATA product or services in future.

              I have purchased a Spectacles from TitanEye+ New BEL road Bangalore on Sat 07/11/09 they told me that delivery will be made on Tuestay 10/11/09 but when i went to the shop they told me that it is not ready and it will be deliver to you tomorrow. when i went on thursay they told me the same thing. then i spoke to the shop manager they told me to contact area manager i contacted her she told me that some problem has occured due to which delayed has happened. after that she gave me her senior boss cell no.He was regional manger and he justt told me he will look into the matter.They dnt even bother to infrom me. not even they make any call about the status.They told me that they provide me free home delivery, every dam samll shop provide home deliver.there irresponsible attitude should not be tolerated. they dont know how to speek with there customers. not meeting there deadline.



              From a Salesman to Managerial level no one was bother to take the responsible to sort out the problem. they were just giving their senior manager no to speek with them. I dont know what kind mangers they are ? not qualified, less knowledge.

              Titan is such a big brand and they are not meeting there customer needs.I have lost my 2 important days who will going to compensate on this.

              I had purchased titan eye product worth INR 3100. Just within 3 weeks the product has malfunctioned. Titan is now refusing to replace the product. Their head of customer care - says ’’’’Do Whatever You Can’’.

              I could have very well purchased some cheap spectacles worth 750 rupees from any other optician. But i chose to spend almost four times the amount with a trust that i will get dependable product from Titan; but i was incorrect. They are now so rude to me and it is very sad to hear such a negative and unreasonable response from a person as senior as the head of customer service. First two days the people in local showroom just refused to divulge any contact information of any of their seniors. Also, the customer care number is not in a working condition. It is so shocking. Why would i or anybody else buy such a costly product and then regret.

              .I have placed an order on 7/2/13 at titan eye + shop at New BEL Road bangalore-94.While placing the order, I was told that the delivery will be after 3 days.Unfortunately I paid full amount in advance(yes, it was my biggest mistake).Nobody contacted me after 3 days and after several attempts I could reach them by phone and they informed that deliver will be at 6pm.while on the way to shop in the evening, they called again and informed that the lens got cracked and delivery will be delayed for 2 more days.
              Today(14/02/13), When I called them at around 1.30pm, I heard a male voice and after the introduction the phone got disconnected and found to be switched off after that.Again I tried on a different number(which was not audible at all), a female voice informed that its ready by 6.30 pm.I reached the shop, at 7.15pm and after a 10 minutes search, they told that its not ready and it will take 2-3 days.
              I am totally disappointed with the way things happened with titan eye+ and is this the way a professional company functions.Nobody in the shop have spoken with responsibility and I really don't know when will I get my specs.
              Please please avoid this shop...Ridiculous...

                I have purchased a titan watch from World of Titan Patna,on 10/06/2009
                model no 291NL02.in the name O[censored]sha Sharma memo recept/invoice no.[protected]. the day i bought it does not work it goes slow by 5 min everyday. i have contacted Titan regional office kolkata but no positive response,they advice me to contact service centre at Asansol.Thrice i visited service centre WATCH WORLD at Asansol,lastly they said cicuit defect, to be change ,but it will take one month,but the behaviour was very humaliating,as it happen that i have done some crime by buying Titan Watch.Still the watch is in service centre.for last two months they are harrasing me.I have concted Customer Service centre at Bangalore,they said to contact me Kolkata,they are unable to ldge complain . KINDLY GUIDE ME WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW.

                    Hi

                    I am a regular customer of Titan and have purchased a substatial number of your productsas watches and eye gear from FastTrack as well as watches of edge and the Raga collection.
                    So far, I have been satisfied with your products and service and at the beginning of this mail itself, I'd like to congratulate Titan for the warm customer-centricity rendered in terms of sales as well as post-sale service.

                    However, I'd like to bring to your notice a very embarrasing and vexating incident that I faced when I approached one of your dealers in Kochi, Kerala.

                    I purchased a ladies watch (Model NO: 9684YAA ; other details enclosed below ) from "World of Titan", in Pioneer Towers, Marine drive, Kochi, Kerala (Ph: +[protected] on the 22/08/09. Since I was in a hurry, I selected the watch for my relative with the belief that I could exchange the watch if the person for whom the watch was intended, did not like it.

                    As could only be expected, my relative did not like the watch's design. Since I had already exchanged watches from other showrooms across India without any hassle, I did not expect any hiccups and hence approached the dealer along with my relative and requested for an exchange.

                    The manager of the showroom refused to exchange the watch with the lame excuse that watches sold during the sale period "are usually" not exchanged. I refused to give-in to this incoherent and lame excuse, owing to the fact that I had already exchanged watches from other showrooms and dealers across India without any hassle whatsoever DURING THE SALE PERIOD. Upon quoting this, he told me that "his shop in not a dealership, it is only a franchisee". I asked him why he was given the right to issue Titan's guarantree card if what he said was true, to which he had no explanation to offer.

                    Not only did the manager refuse the exchange, he behaved in a rude, impolite and hostile manner that would perturb even the most nonchalant of customers and imbibe in them a sense of aversion and abhorrence not only towards the dealer, but towards the brand it endorses as well.

                    I tried to negotiate with the manager very politely, but got a shamefully rude response which left me in a state of sheer chagrin and disbelief.

                    I believe that Titan dealers such as the one mentioned above, are a true disgrace to the strong name that Titan holds in the industry.

                    I would like to have the above-mentioned watch exchanged with another model before the sale ends (which is on the 13th of September, 2009).

                    I request you to look into this matter, do the needful and revert at the earliest, to uphold the trust that I have in the service Titan has rendered to me so far, of course barring the embarrassng incident mentioned above.

                      Sub:- Harassment after purchasing Progressive Lens from your Camac
                      St., Kolkata Shop.

                      Sir,

                      The following diary will surely explain you the way I have been harassed by your so called renowned organization after purchasing a progressive lens and frame from the Camac Street, Kolkata shop of Titan Eye +.

                      10/06/2009  Payment was made by me (Rs 5840/- gross and Rs 4380/- net) for a pair of Essilor Titus progressive lens (VE1491WPXXX00) and a frame (Y1018A1A1) at Titan Eye + Camac Street Shop, Kolkata.

                      18/06/09  Delivery of spectacles was taken from the said shop.(Bill no. S9/800)

                      22/06/09  The spectacles was returned to the Camac St. shop of Titan Eye+ with a complaint of viewing double image & ghosting while using the spectacles at night.

                      27/06/09  Met optometrist Dr. Rinki Nag of the shop who found problem after testing the lens. A written complaint in your pre-printed proforma was lodged mentioning details of the problems I faced after wearing the spectacles. Dr. Nag assured me to send the lenses for testing in your lab.

                      08/07/09  Mr. Provasish Saha, Store Manager rang me up and promised me to replace the lens as soon as possible.

                      22/07/09 After noticing a complete silence for 2 weeks from your end, I went to the shop where I met your senior optometrist Dr. Sanchayeeta who confirmed me about the problem I had faced and told me to deliver the new spectacles by changing lens hopefully on next Friday i.e. 31st July, 2009.

                      31/07/09  Before going to shop, when I rang up Sanchayeeta, she confirmed me to deliver the spectacles on next Wednesday, i.e. 5th August, 2009.

                      05/07/09  When I rang up Sanchayeeta, She aging requested me to wait for another 2-3 days to get my corrected lens.

                      08/08/09  Finally, I went to the shop. Mr. Provasish Saha handed me over the spectacles claiming that the necessary rectification was made. But to my surprise, after waiting for 1.5 months I found exactly the same problem existing in my spectacles. I don’t know whether at all the lenses were changed or not. I talked to Sanchayeeta over phone from the shop and requested her as well as Provashis to refund me the full amount (according to the instruction given in the warranty booklet due to adjustment difficulties in case of progressive lenses), so that I can be relieved of this sort of harassment and inconvenience. Because I don’t have much more time to spare for getting more harassment from you.

                      UNDER THIS CIRCUMSTANCES, I AM REQUESTING YOU TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFUL, SO THAT I CAN GET THE FULL REFUND WITHOUT FURTHERDELAY. OTHERWISE I SHALL BE COMPELLED TO PUT THIS CASE TO CONSUMER FORUM.

                        Bad service with titan model 2251-YM01.We had to replace the watch thrice in 20 days of purchase as it was not working and battery was changed twice.On exchange no model was available in similar price, on opting for model 155 rupees less, no cashback.Credit note provision which is useless for customer as after such bad experience and wastage of my 7 working hours over watch, i wont buy same watch or recommend titan to my friends or family.

                          Dear Sir/ Madam,

                          This is in relation to my order for spectacles with your Titan Eye+ showroom in Malleswaram. I had given order for a pair of spectacles during mid June 2009. It has been an ordeal ever since. The delivery date was committed as 24th June 2009, but inspite of my repeated followups there was no response from your store till 2nd July. I finally got the spectacles on 4th July. When I got the spectacles, I saw to my horror that the quality was extremely bad. I returned the spectacles to the store for repair. The store incharge told me that the lens were wrongly fitted and promised to return it in the next couple of days. It has been more than 10 days since then and I have not had a satisfactory reply inspite of my repeated reminders. The value of the spectacles is close to Rs. 20000.and the entire amount has been paid in advance. My experience with your service has been horrible and I'm planning to consult my lawyer for further course of action. Please revert immediately with your response.

                          I had ordered my glasses with Ttan Eye Plus shop at GEL Church Complex, Ranchi. After making full payment in advance on 25th Dec, 2009, I was asked to come to their shop at 6.30 pm on 1st Jan, 2010 to collect the same.I have their Advance Receipt number 2605 which says so in black and white.Imagine my surprise when I reached their shop at 6.30 pm on 1st Jan, 2010,
                          (i) The shop was closed.
                          (ii) There was no response to my calls on their Landline and Mobile numbers.
                          (iii) There was no intimation of nay sort on my number even after I sent an SMS to them.

                          I hope Titan being a Tata company will have the decency of finding ways of making up for absolutely atrocious behaviour .I can not make my sel[censored]se the terms 'customer service' for what they have done.
                          Dear Sir,

                          I have purchased the spectacles for my sister from Titan Eye Shop from South City Mall, 375, Price Annwar Shah Road, Jodhpur Park, Kolkta-68 on 21.08.10 .My Sr no is 442 dt 21/08/10. The power of glass is approx -8.5, The delivery date was aprx 10 day ie on 31.08.10. On 01.09.10. they informed that they will taking another 10 days as lense was broken incourse of fittings. Inspite of my repeated reminder about the provable date of delivery they were giving an excuse that they havnt received the lense form Banglore . I have even compained to Custer service regarding this matter on 06.09.10.

                          She is facing lot of problem without spectacles. This kind of experience is very shocking. Being group of Tata's and providing such kind of services.It is better to close the store if "Titan Eye"are unable to serve your customer

                          I woul request the management to seriously look into this mater.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I am one of your many loyal customers since 1999. I have purchased for our family as well as for our company's various dealer motivational schemes.

                            I am surprised and feared the kind of reception i had in your South Usman Road, T.Nagar, Chennai Showroom at the CASH desk.

                            The two guys sitting there swiped my card and took a very long time to return the card and the bill.

                            Since it took a very long time that too for a small purchase of an ear ring worth Rs13, 000/- I moved myself to the desk enquiring for the delay, then the cash desk fellow informed me it is over and shoved in front of my face the card swiping machine and asked me to key in the PIN.

                            I asked what PIN, as I gave them my debit card, I was shocked and surprised.

                            The Cash desk persons now two of them insisted I key in my ATM PIN. I was about to key in, due to my prescience of mind I refused and said if you want cash I will pay cash.

                            Rubbing salt on the injury, they questioned me why I refused to enter the ATM PIN, I repeat ATM PIN. I said is it a private confidential undisclosable security number, then they said
                            You mean we are jokers to ask the number this the way this machine works.

                            Then I said in that case i prefer to pay by cash the entire amount, at that point of time they nodded each other and swiped the card in another Machine for Rs4000. Remember I have used the card only for Rs4000/- balance was paid by cash and old jewel adjustment.

                            I immediately gone back and checked with my Banker and they asked me to Lodge a Police complaint.

                            Now let me know why in Tanishq showroom they keep such persons in the cash desk and why should they demand customers ATM PIN number for the transactions on the debit card?

                            Or

                            Are they overstepping in privacy of the customers in the guise of checking fraudulant transactions?

                            or

                            Are they both employees for Tanishq and some 3rd rated banks whom wanted to track customers transactions and duplicate cards and engage in fraudulent activities.

                            Kindly note that one of my relative is the Police commissioner here in chennai, I trust Tanishq will take severe action and inform me of what you have done to this issue.

                            Otherwise I would be forced to inform the concerned authorities and the press with [photographs of the showroom.

                              I have purchased a gold chain from Tanishq at Pinjore Highway, Chandigarh in Jul 09. To my surprise, the Karat Meter in the same showroom was showing it as 20.7 to 21.3k even on repeated readings & after calibrating the meter with reference standard. The shop owner immediately offered to refund the money or free exchange anytime. I however refrained from further botherations as I had already wasted 2-3 hrs of our precious time in choosing the design & filling up stupid relationship forms. But definitely, Tanishq is not at all good for a second purchase after such a discovery. I Shall never recommed it to anybody. . . . [protected]@rediffmail.com

                                Hello,

                                Today was the death of my titan eye+ frame I had purchased from Jayanagar branch in March 2008. The Journey that the frame made it this far was tough, with constant problems of screws coming out of it, and I having to frequently repair them. The frame costed me more than Rs.3000, + additional costs for the glass, altogether amounting to about Rs. 6000, and it lasted only for little more than a year. I have had specs bought from much smaller shop for much lesser amounts, and have lasted for 5 years and more. However, the ones from Titan Eye doesn't have that quality at all, and I would like to say it's very very poor. I believe it must be a tactic of Titan Eye so that people buy new frames just after 1 year, cause they dont give guarantee after 1 year. So, today when I went to their shop, with my broken specs (the side rod broke off at the joint without any reason, on casual usage) they said to buy new spec as the current specs is outside the warranty.

                                I would like to file this as a formal complaint, and would like to discourage anybody from investing in Titan Eye frames.

                                I have ordered for specs on 14 th sept at Vashi store of TITANEYE+ and got the delivery of the same on
                                21 st sept without THE BILL(INVOICE) till date (4the Oct) despite of numerous phone calls on the pertex 0f computer is not responding or courier not available

                                  I had purchased a fastrack watch 2 weeks back ( on 17/06/2009). There was problem in the watch and it was getting late by 10 min. I took the watch to the show room. They checked the watch and there was some defect in it. They offered to replace the watch but they didnt had the same colour watch. They asked me take another watch of similar price. But i wanted the same colour model. So they replaced the internal machine of the watch with the machine of another watch of same model. During the replacement they put a scratch on the glass of the watch. When i pointed out the scratch they said that it was there before i brought the watch to the show room. I asked if the scratch was already there why did they initially offer me to take a different watch of similar price.

                                  It is clear that its there mistake and they are not ready own it. Please tell me what should i do to get justice. The details of the show room is given below:

                                    dear sir,
                                    I just purchased new titan fastrack wrist watch with 2 years warantee, model no. 3009nl01/c143b, bill no. 001791, bill amount Rs. 2900 on dtd.[protected] from retailar named mangabhai & sons, navsari, gujarat.
                                    In few days the top key of watch was loose out from the watch. Retailar charged me Rs.150 for reset the same. Now again same problem occurs.
                                    So that i am requesting to exchange the same or allow me to buy new watch in the same price.

                                      i bought antiglare spectacles from titan eye+ dadar for 3500rs (inclusive of frame & glass), those spectacles endured only few days, it became loose day by day...i went & got it fixd frm them, but that frame was already weak & i'm convinced that they tighten the its skrews carelessly, so it broke next day..when i went to ask them to change glass they shown me their warrenty rules & stuff, i knew that they dont replace glass if customer had mishandled it...so i showd them how cracks appeared because of their 'FIXING' but they kept saying it was my fault & i shd be more careful...

                                      i am using spectacles for more than 15 years so they cannot teach me how to be careful...i wasnt strong enough to fight back, so i dont want to lodge any complaint, but i want to warn people who are thinking about buying anything from titan eye+ ..."DONT THINK ABOUT IT"...try to get ur spects made from ur local spectacle store, these local store have much more experiance & they provide more quality & coustomer service than these so calld hi-fi shops...

                                      I agree... I went for check up and ordering of glasses in Titan Eye + showroom in Bangalore, Koramangala.
                                      After check-up, the optician did not find any cylindrical power for me, where as i have cylindrical power in one eye. After informing him, i was advised to visit a particular Dr. there i was given another prescription by the Dr. When visiting the Titan eye center to collect the glasses another Dr. there informed that i have been prescribe a wrong prescription. Now what to do... wastage of money and time... because of their irresponsibility... this has happened in the last three days only.
                                      I had 2 very similar experiences with titan eye care Calicut Kerala branch. I had bought new specs Frame + glass from them and within 2 months one glass started falling off from the frame. Once this happened while I was doing a surgery. I approached titan eye care & they took 1 week to repair it. From the next week onwards the other glass started falling and this happened while i was travelling & it created many difficulties for me. I have given it for repair again in the same shop 11 days back with no response till today . I called them back & was duly informed that the frame/glass was faulty & it has to be replaced with the materials coming from their factory & it will take time.

                                      Along with this I had also given another specs to get a cracked glass changed on one side. They changed the glass on the cracked side with a glass of an obviously different tint and thickness which was not fit to wear in public. The disparity was very much obvious to everyone but the titan people in that shop was adamantly saying that both are the same in colour & the thickness difference was being due to 1 being cylindrical. I am a doctor & moreover I have been using glasses for more than 25 years & i know that at that power the thickness can be almost the same as was my previous glass. But these titan people were hard to convince & finally I took it to another shop where I was told that both the glasses were different in colour and thickness & I got it changed from them within 1 day.
                                      Titan is supposed to be a reputed chain & only because of this I had gone to them for the first time. Now i realize that a local small spectacle shop is far better than this conglomerate in eye care.If i dont complain about this it will be a huge lapse from my part.SO BEWARE OF TITAN EYE CARE.
                                      I bought two pair of spectacle, in April 2013, at Titan Eye at Mauraya Lok. Complex Patna.on pair was very comfortable but the other one never suited. I could not make a complaint as I was out of Country till January 2014. Again I ordered another pair in April 2014, this pair never suited me they said there was some problem in lenses and will be done in a week, that is end of April but could not be done till today. I feel that I have been cheated by this reputed company. The staff is polite but unable to deliver results.

                                      Surprisingly they do not have any records of my purchases in April 2013, though payments were made by. Credit card.icui

                                        i got titan watch as a gift from my aunt. i was not in town when she bought it on 25/06/2009 from THE WORLD OF TITAN "KHERA SALES CORPORATION, G-1, JANAKPURI DISTICT CENTRE NEW DELHI 110058 . Shop owner gave a option to get it exchanged if it don't look suitable. Today when i came back from my trip and received my gift, i didnot like the design so i went to the shop to get the watch replaced. the owner didnot agree to exchange it and said very roudely that we wont exchange your watch as it is used. owner was herself not able to clerify her statement that from where the watch was used.

                                        i would like to take an action against the rude behaviour of shop keeper and against the mis statement being passed by her.
