I was travelling with my wife and 5-year-old son from Erode to CBE on 20/08/2015 in bus TN33 2821. We stood up at the bus gate before my stop (Peelamedu) arrived and told the conductor that we need to get down. The conductor didn't whistle to indicate the driver to stop. The driver didn't stop the bus at my stop and after arguing with them, he stopped the bus after 2 stops (Nava India) from my stop, that too for the signal and it was 9:00 p.m. when we reached there.
I didn't get any auto from there to go home and we walked nearly 1 km with my kid to get an auto.
The reason he didn't stop the bus is, he competed with a private bus and wanted to be first to reach Gandhipuram.
Is this the way the government serves people?? Are we not paying for that?? It is their duty to stop at each customer's bus-stop, isn't? Are we asking to drop us at our home?
What action will be taken on these irresponsible drivers and conductors?
