Dear Sir,


The complaint against torrent power ltd agra,
I have applied for new connection No 12/new/118070 and survey has been done as on 13/08/12, and he committed me as you will get connection within four days, and second thing that he also update survey report to torrent power as there is bulilder involved in that area so you required to do electrification in that area and estimated expenses as around 2 lac rs. Then how can we do that,

Please rectify the problem on priority,

On above service Number we have two meters - One is Residential and other one is Commercial.
Torrent power fixed new meter before 3-4 months ago. At that time they didn't indicate meter information on meter box.
So, Wire man attach residential wire in to commercial meter and commercial wire into residential meter.In short wires are interchanged because they didn't write information on meter. Now, when bill came they charged amount per unit as commercial charges. So, please sort out this thing. We are unable to pay that much amount.Please help us.

my service no is 88849 last bill i paid rs 1586,and my current bill is 2235 there is not any extra use of power by my side so sir i just want to know why this bill is high??

I have not received my electricity bill of august 2011.My service number is 169404.without sending our bill they just disconnect it one fine day.I will be obliged if you dont repeat this time

Dear Sir,

I have applied for increase in load from 0.78 KW to 6 KW in the month of July 2011 and also paid Rs. 2740/- for charges and security deposity. However today on 23rd August 2011 i come to know that my application is rejected on account of following grounds -

1) Company have not received Society NOC from our side
2) Company cannot hold the application for more than 16 days.

in agra many of your Er & Officer in charge are indulge in corruption. they have came from gujrat to exploit north indians and are harrasing citizens o[censored]P. Torrent is behaving like a bad business man. on behalf of Agra i can quote few names too...but mostly money is being demanded while providing meter connections for commercial purpose. mainly in your so called zone 1 (agra fort division). you need to take strict action against all those else a loby against torrent is getting ready during election and will be tough for the unit to sustain.people sitting at your head office are not taking steps to curb the issue. even few officers who were in past listining to our such grievances has been sent or posted some where else or being left the organisation. need to see this serious issue.

Torrent Power Agra are mentally harrasing the customer by not providing the basic utility Electricity.They do not respond to consuumer complaints for 3 long days even after repeated complaints.Also they mentally harras the customer by forcing their wishes on the customer.They are not ready to listen to the customers and are extremely rude and disrespectful.

Inspite of repeated complaints to Torrent power about voltage flactuation in home, nothing has been done till now. They are taking highest charge for electricity but full of curruption. I think they are illegaly providing power to people who give off the record money that's why they are not solving my problem. My customer number is 462893.

Sub: Complaint about rampant power-cut “Making Agra a living Hell.”

Sir,
With due respect, I, Dr. Manoj Kumar Pati, thinks being a responsible citizen, it is my utmost duty to bring to your notice about the ongoing drastic power-cut problem through out Agra.
This is to inform you that I stay in Dayal Bagh area of Agra and we the people here in this area are facing enormous difficulty at both workplace and at home due to frequent power interruption in prolonged succession. The most baffling part of it, is that power is being cut without giving prior notice and without any understandable reason for quite some days from now.
As you are also aware of the fact that, the temperature is on a peak now and conditions here are turning such worst that the entire night people have to stay awake owing to power disruption amidst this hectic temperature.
For the last two weeks or so the situation is much aggravated like never before making this heritage city worse than a rural area without electricity facility.
Therefore, This is on behalf of the denizens of Dayal Bagh,I request you to please look into the matter seriously and on a priority basis and be instrumental in resolving the issue at an early date for which we will be grateful to you.

my complaint about the power supplier company in agra. there is a torrent power which is not giving proper power supply in the area. i just give u a case example of dated 21.05.2011 mid night when there was a very danger thunder in which power went to be breakdown and i just complaint but there is no positive response of there customer representative. my light was not coming from last saturday and i again complaint but they only give me a complaint number and after 7 to 8 hour no solution of the problem.

A lot of difficulty is being faced due to interrupted power supply that to only one phase with heavy fluctuation.
A complaint was made #[protected] on 16th may 2011 at 13:40 hrs but in vain as no staff personnel has turned up for rectification of defect till 2:00 am on 17th may 2011 and so far, even after reminding time and again over teleway .
It is surprise to see such a lackadaisical attitude of torrent power ltd, agra towards the consumers.
Will u please look in to the matter and do the needful soon for an uninterrupted power supply?

I will like to draw the attention of Government in Gujarat that due to the Thermal Power Station in Sabarmati of Torrent Group we the people residing besides this station is facing serious breathing problems because of smoke which emerges out of the chimneys of this Powerplant.

I and all the people residing beside this Powerplant would be very much thankful to the person who can bring us some good and fast solution to this dangerous smoke coming out of this chimney and help us to to live in pollution free atmosphere.

This is to say that i m one of the employee of torrent power ltd as this is a ltd company and is into the electricity distribution in Agra. In this company no one believe to do work as per the labor act as out of 4 weekly off Sundays the company persons calls us 2 times and when we say anything like sir tom. is Sunday and we cant come as we have the work at home, they directly says then dont come from next day they cant understand the problem of the person who is alone to do all the work of there home.If any employee really have the genuine problem then they only have one choice either there work or there problem. Now pls tell us as we all knows job is important but the personnel work is also important or not.

As per the lobor act one co who is ltd can't force any person to work more than 5 days a week but as this company have the very good contacts with ministers as they had given bribe to all of the big leaders, so not even a single person including police department help to the local person

this is on behalf of all the employees of the torrent whose dreams really shattered by this company.

Request you to pls look into the same and take tough actions against this company.

My self Vinod J. Rathod son of Jethabhai R. Rathod holding the above mention service nos. of torrent power AEC Ltd. Supply.From last two days we are facing a power cut problem and nobody has resolved yet .The worker are came and go back they also not found the fault.The workers has told it will take 3-4 days more.

Also from last 6 months the power supply is fluctuated and while using appliances like Mixer grinder or other rarely used appliances we found fluctuation of power resulted in switched off lights automatically, fans get slower than its usual speed and compressor of Refrigeratore stops working etc.

We therefore request you to give us the reply in writing on :

1. what time it will take to clear the problems regarding constant failure of electricity supply and fluctuation problem clearance from your end.

2. Whom to contact in case if the call center people are not attending the call during night time

3. Whom to contact in fault division for the particular fault at site and what to do or whom to complain if the call center people does not give their nos.

We are awaiting for your earliest reply on the same and hopping to get clearance of our above mention problems at earliest.

sir we are a consumer of torrent power agra i am not satisfied of your electricity service i am requested to you to say that i have not found your bill thus they cut our electric connection without warning and in my absence then i can take out duplicate bill from torrent power and i fill it immediately with disconnect&rejoined charges but I request many time then also the torrent power officer not joined my electric connection 5pm to 10 am so i am very unconvient the whole night without my any fault so i regard you to say that you can take action of my matter &cooperate us thank's my connection no 111540
