Hi,

I bought a Toshiba TV on 2014. The TV stopped working after 11 months. so i logged a complaint and the service personnel visited my home and confirmed that the panel is faulty and said a new TV will be provided since the TV was under warranty. I was not satisfied with the default alternatives offered and picked 32L5400ZE model by paying an additional amount. This TV also started to have problem in 10 months. The problem we faced was that, a lock screen started to appear and regardless of the password we gave the password screen does not get dismissed, we did not setup this password in the first place. we logged a complaint for this issue and we were asked to take it to service center. we took it service center they said that the board was at fault and needed to be replaced and since this TV will not be covered by warranty we have to pay for it. we agreed for the replacement. They initially said the cost of the board and service to be 10K INR, but even after waiting for over 9 months the service was not completed, when we asked finally they said that the cost of the board to be 20K INR. So I took the TV home from the service center with out replacing the board.

The TV is working fine the view only gets hindered by the lock screen. so i am not sure why the board has to be replaced. Attached video to demonstrate the problem.

I want to replace the android OS of the TV to see if that solves the problem. I am able to find firmware for other models in Toshiba website but for Indian models it is not available. So please provide me with the firmware / android OS replacement for my TV model.
