Case history:
iphone12 was given for repair on display issue on 7th January 2023 at the tooodo center at Yelahanka. (*no one asked the password*).
After 2 days of we following up with the centre, the front desk responded stating Display with charging port has to be replaced and some internal bend has to be corrected. An agreement was reached after discussion that repairing cost will be 14000 RS.
On 11th of Jan I received multiple calls from the centre that the phone is repaired and to collect the same. A payment of 14000 RS to Arun Goiwda was made(attaching the gpay transactions for the same.)
While I went to the center to pick the phone (in the centre itself) it was observed that the phone wifi and bluetooth enabling option was not working and I was informed that the placement of display is not right and it would be rectified and corrected in 2 days. (centre guy salman asked for password and was given at the same moment)
After continuous follow ups on phone and in centre "2 days timelines where given on every followup and we finally reached Monisha (HR) on 22nd who promised to get back to us in next 24 hours but on 23rd, Jyothi calls and inform she is the support head and inform that she will check and get back in next 24 hours and insist not to call HR again and she will call back.
No call was received and we had to follow up and Jyothi informed us that technition is not available and she would get back to us in the next 24 hours (new timeline).
Finally on 29th jyothi give reason that we never shared password for people to check which was clarified that we were never asked for a password and when asked it was shared in the center.
Jyothi speaks to the center on the same and she said she will check and get back to us. We waited for 3 days and on 1st feb when called from morning 10.50 AM to night 8 PM she said she is in meeting and at 8 PM Jyothi calls and tries to re-iterate the complete conversation and make password as reason for the delay and fault in the phone is never detected for 25 days.
Upon lengthy conversation she give us 2 options:
1: Pay 9500 extra for IC replacement (which we are not sure as phone was with totoodo for 25 days)
2: Jyothi will pay 5000 K to us and she will keep the phone
As we did not agree for these 2 options and requested our phone back in the same state as given on 7th jan and 14k reimbursement, she agreed on the above mentioned dates and asked us to send an email to [protected]@totoodo.com and she will confirm on the same email.
On 1st of Feb at 8 PM, Jyothi on phone confirmed returning of iphone 12 on 4th Feb before 8 PM at yelahanka totodoo centre in the same state as it was received on jan 7th and timeline for reimbursement of (14k - service charge + GST) (without detecting/correcting the fault in the phone for 25 days of time) will be shared on 3rd of Feb at 3 PM
On 1st of Feb at 8 PM, Jyothi on phone confirmed returning of iphone 12 on 4th Feb before 8 PM at yelahanka totodoo centre in the same state as it was received on jan 7th and timeline for reimbursement of (14k - service charge + GST) (without detecting/correcting the fault in the phone for 25 days of time) will be shared on 3rd of Feb at 3 PM on addressing the issue mentioned below.
We were asked to send email on [protected]@totoodo.com when requested for written communication on the discussion and jyothi said she will send confirmation by 3 PM on the same email on friday 3rd feb after she logins at 12 PM as on 2nd of Feb she is on leave.
(received 14K and shared bill for 13.5 K after multiple followups)
