Case history:
iphone12 was given for repair on display issue on 7th January 2023 at the tooodo center at Yelahanka. (*no one asked the password*).
After 2 days of we following up with the centre, the front desk responded stating Display with charging port has to be replaced and some internal bend has to be corrected. An agreement was reached after discussion that repairing cost will be 14000 RS.
On 11th of Jan I received multiple calls from the centre that the phone is repaired and to collect the same. A payment of 14000 RS to Arun Goiwda was made(attaching the gpay transactions for the same.)
While I went to the center to pick the phone (in the centre itself) it was observed that the phone wifi and bluetooth enabling option was not working and I was informed that the placement of display is not right and it would be rectified and corrected in 2 days. (centre guy salman asked for password and was given at the same moment)

After continuous follow ups on phone and in centre "2 days timelines where given on every followup and we finally reached Monisha (HR) on 22nd who promised to get back to us in next 24 hours but on 23rd, Jyothi calls and inform she is the support head and inform that she will check and get back in next 24 hours and insist not to call HR again and she will call back.

No call was received and we had to follow up and Jyothi informed us that technition is not available and she would get back to us in the next 24 hours (new timeline).
Finally on 29th jyothi give reason that we never shared password for people to check which was clarified that we were never asked for a password and when asked it was shared in the center.

Jyothi speaks to the center on the same and she said she will check and get back to us. We waited for 3 days and on 1st feb when called from morning 10.50 AM to night 8 PM she said she is in meeting and at 8 PM Jyothi calls and tries to re-iterate the complete conversation and make password as reason for the delay and fault in the phone is never detected for 25 days.

Upon lengthy conversation she give us 2 options:
1: Pay 9500 extra for IC replacement (which we are not sure as phone was with totoodo for 25 days)
2: Jyothi will pay 5000 K to us and she will keep the phone
As we did not agree for these 2 options and requested our phone back in the same state as given on 7th jan and 14k reimbursement, she agreed on the above mentioned dates and asked us to send an email to [protected]@totoodo.com and she will confirm on the same email.

On 1st of Feb at 8 PM, Jyothi on phone confirmed returning of iphone 12 on 4th Feb before 8 PM at yelahanka totodoo centre in the same state as it was received on jan 7th and timeline for reimbursement of (14k - service charge + GST) (without detecting/correcting the fault in the phone for 25 days of time) will be shared on 3rd of Feb at 3 PM

On 1st of Feb at 8 PM, Jyothi on phone confirmed returning of iphone 12 on 4th Feb before 8 PM at yelahanka totodoo centre in the same state as it was received on jan 7th and timeline for reimbursement of (14k - service charge + GST) (without detecting/correcting the fault in the phone for 25 days of time) will be shared on 3rd of Feb at 3 PM on addressing the issue mentioned below.
We were asked to send email on [protected]@totoodo.com when requested for written communication on the discussion and jyothi said she will send confirmation by 3 PM on the same email on friday 3rd feb after she logins at 12 PM as on 2nd of Feb she is on leave.

(received 14K and shared bill for 13.5 K after multiple followups)

Hello Respective team,
I am posting again to receive further support as am completely cheated. None of the commitments mentioned in previous update was fulfilled (refund update and then returning back of phone). Based on my previous update, on Feb 2nd I received email from totoodo, where they mentioned they will rectify the issue by Feb 5th and if not they will initiate refund. Later on 6th of Feb the phone was returned to us after removing the replaced display(unable to attache photo of phone as it exceeds 2MB. please send link where photo can be attached) and they took written confirmation from us that they have returned the phone and 14k refund pending from totoodo. Store manager Arun also signed the copy confirming 14k Pending with totoodo. He said we will get email by end of 6th feb mentioning the same. After which till today no refund is initiated nor they are responding to any of our emails nor phone calls. Arun said Jyothi has informed to remove the display and handover the phone to customer but without returning our money is not acceptable. This is real fraud and we need our refund with compensation for cheating to the worst possible level.
We are ok to fight this instance in consumer court with paid lawyer service as well and we have recordings of Jyothi committing and her arrogant talks where she has said she will pay us 5K and keep the phone with her.
I have seen many reviews where Jyothi's name is highlighted for all possible negative things but not sure how totoodo is still entertaining such behaviour of hers and still she is with the company. I am a common resident of India who has been cheated for 14K and removing parts of phone in the name of service but no service provided by totoodo.
Kindly let me know the procedure to fight this case in consumer court. We are not getting any email responses nor refund from totoodo as they promised in below email. Its like we the customer lost 55k Worth phone along with 14k which is paid for repair.

With all the proofs I have I am proceeding to file a complaint in consumer court and sharing my complaint in social forums. I see many customers like me cheated by totoodo. I am writing to other customers here who would like to join me as proof with your bad experience, please join me. Please call me at [protected]/[protected]. Lets fight and teach this company a lesson who have taken it real easy to cheat customer in the name of mobile service.

    Nature of Complaint: Battery was not charging and it was showing 1%.

    Details:
    I have given my Ipad Air2 at the above address on[protected] for repairs as the battery was not charging. On[protected], they have informed me hat Battery and charging board IC have gone and repair charge will be
    Rs.7600-00 and I agreed. They have informed me that the Ipad is repaired and I have paid Rs.7600/- and collected the Ipad at 2000 Hrs n[protected].
    I have observed the status was same earlier to repair and again I have given to the repair centre on[protected].

    [protected], they have informed me that, the mother board is not available and we have ordered and will be informed after repair.
    I was enquiring and there was no response.
    on[protected], they have informed that, the component will be received and will inform after replacing IC and other 3 components are short.
    after that, again thy have demanded Rs.5500-00 for repair charges. I have refused and asked them to return the Ipad as it is.
    But today is[protected], still they are telling the technician is on leave and will assemble once he comes and return. This is some thing ridicules' and not agreeable. I doubt about the integrity of the company people.
    I request you to arrange for immediate return of my Ipad and refund of Rs7600-00 as it is not repaired.
    An early action in the matter is requested else I will escalate my grievance to the consumer forum.

      I gave my iphone 11 to whitefield service center as my phone had battery bulging issue and they took Rs 4, 000 to replace the battery. Within 1 month o[censored]sage only battery started bulging again. When i complained they did not cover it in warranty. Again i gave him to correct my phone battery along with complete replacement of phone back panel as it was completely broken. They took Rs 10, 000 to correct it. Within 10 days the phone started new problem of phone reboot which was not there earlier at all. Now they are not covering that also under warranty and again asking to pay additional Rs 3, 000. They are just looting money and not making anything correct. I do not understand what is the 6 months warranty that they talk about when they are not covering anything under the warranty. I need my money back from them. Please never go to any center of Totoodo as they are complete cheaters.

        Hi,

        My phone was not charging properly so i took it to one of the Phone repairing company totoodo in Whitefield, Bangalore. The guy asked for 2200Rs to change the charging plate and I declined. I told him the issue should be some lose connection, the plate would be okay. He said okay if it is some other issue i can check and should cost around 700-800Rs. I asked him to check and tell. The serviceman went inside, it was just the rust/carbon deposited on the plate which he cleaned and came after 10mins and told the issue is resolved. I asked him the issue, he told there was rust on the plate, i cleaned it. And then asked for 800Rs. Oneplus service centre does that for free. And the same could be done at home with a brush, if I were aware. He charged 800 for the same and didn't even tell in prior that this is the issue and this would be the service charge. He simply cleaned it and asked for the money. When i argued, the serviceman was too rude. Even if he wanted to charge he could have asked for 50-100Rs but 800 is too much for just brushing the usb port to remove carbon. Being the only customer and a girl, i couldn't fight with him and so i left. He didn't even gave the bill. I had to go again n ask for the same. I want the company to refund my amount back.

          Hi,
          I gave 2 phones for the batteries to be replaced at Jayanagar branch, Bangalore. They put batteries on my Redmi and Lenovo phones, but right after taking it, the phone started getting switched off after it reaches 50% of charge. I paid multiple visits to ToToodo after that, I paid 4400 for the batteries and got no help whatsoever.
          The phone just had battery issues where was draining out faster, but now, it switches off after 50% on both phones which is quite irritating.

          If you cant solve a problem, then why open a service center? You just take money and do no help. I demand that you fix the problems you created on my phones, you have just messed up my phones.

          I was informed by Totoodo that they are authorised service center but I got to know today that they are only certified center, also, they have charged me 2500 for a Redmi Note 8 battery. I went to the MI service center today and they told me that the battery only costs 800 and including GST it is only 1400.
          I am sure its the same case with Lenovo too.
          Invoice No - SB/FEB/016 (Amount - 2500) & SB/FEB/016 (Amount 1900)

          I have received mental harassment by your service center for not servicing the phones properly and adding to the woes I have, multiple visits to your service center, rudeness by the service center manager.

          I have been cheated from your service center (Section 420) and breach of trust (section 406).

          I had to pay extra money to get the phones repaired again from an AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTER and not any CHEAT.

          I demand you refund the money of 4400 towards the cost battery replacement and 25000 towards the agony and extra charges I had to pay to get my phones working to it normal condition.

            I had given 2 phones to Totoodo and they claimed that they are authorised service centre, but i should not have trusted them.
            They put 2 batteries, 1 each on redmi and Lenovo. But after getting these batteries, my phones started switching off automatically after it is left with 50% charge. After i plug the charger, then it starts from zero again and happens on both the phones.. i am extremely disappointed. I spent 4400 on the replacements and multiple visits to the service center. Not just that, the lady manager there is too rude, and is not ok to listen to me or even let me talk.

            Please fix this before i escalate this any further.

            Please help me on this regard.

              Hello I have given my one plus phone in Jayanagar service CENTER for the display change we have paid 8k then next day the phone was not working again I went they checked and said me in hour it wil be okay check after one hour I came bck to home and checked it after one hour it was not working I tried to CONTACT them no response I called miss Jyothi she tooo did not answered the calls and the employee also not responded the calls for 2 days again I went to shop I told him it is Stil not working he was so careless I asked for refund they denied it again Jyothi called nd promised me that they wil repair and they wil deliver the phone by evng 7pm but they dint delivery the phone next morning I called no response now it’s 7pm but Stil I dint received the phone yet now they called and telling we wil delivery by tomorrow afternoon 3pm so much careless people seriously I’m just ### up with the service I should follow up each and every day I should call them 20 times worst service ever I wil Neva recommend this ### service tooo anyone I wil share this issue in social media

                I gave my iPhone for servicing in Electronic City Totoodo service center for replacing the battery. While opening the phone he damaged it and now touchid is not working. After his suggestion we tried resetting the phone and it when to a stage where it is asking to press home button to reset. As home button is not working our phone has become useless.

                When we asked him he says he didn’t do anything wrong and says phone was not in working condition before. We asked him to check cctv footage to check whether we unlocked the phone using touchid or not before handing over it to him, but he denies showing us cctv footage. Very unethical and unprofessional service

                  Bad shopping experience ever... I have purchased a charger from totoodo shop JP NAGAR today and having some problem but the shopkeeper was not changing it.. They were so rough talking and they were not solving complaints but also they are arguing... I request kindly hire good and mannered storekeeper in your company also if you cant do that kindly stop your cheating business because as I see detel charger that I have bought you have charged that too high in price...

                    I gave my tablet for display change before two months to Jayanagar. I've been trying to get status of the tab and every time I try calling 2-3 times a week them I get one of the following :
                    1. version mismatch(!), and get back tomorrow, that never happens
                    2. Guy who collected my phone is on leave(for weeks), will arrange a call from head office, which never happens
                    3. No one at the shop, call so and so number, that number either disconnects my call or blocks.
                    4. Got a number of head office lady who also said I can collect my tab next day, next day onwards my call gets disconnected when I call.

                    No one is able to tell me why the job is not done in 2 months and when can I recieve my tab back. As no one is reachable either on shop or on phone.

                      I had given my laptop for service. I was charged Rs. 12000 for the repair. The laptop was not serviced.
                      On returning to the service centre, the staff are not returning my laptop nor are they refunding my money. It has been 2 months now.

                        In the 3rd week of August, i had given my Dell Laptop for service.On 19th Aug, we received a call back that the component was not available and hence laptop will be returned without service, and so i reached TOTOODO, electronic city service centre. I was informed that the charging port was not working, and component was not available and service cannot be provided. The component cost was informed as Rs.2500.00 and since service was not completed, for diagnosis i was asked to Pay Rs.300. Since, i come from the same IT Field and is a DGM in one IT firm, i informed this and paid Rs.200.00 on the person's agreement.
                        However, to my surprise the next dell service centre informed me that the charging port was working fine and only one soldering to join a missing internal connection was required. The service charge was only Rs.300.00 and my laptop is working fine now.

                        So Totoodo person Mr. Siva, [protected] did a wrong diagnosis with a possible intention on wrongly charge me extra. And worst even after repeated reminders, there is no receipt issued to me for the cash i paid

                        In fact i should get a refund of Rs.200.00 which i paid to him, and also additional Rs.100 for three trips for spending petrol in my car for all this inconvenience caused, only then he will understand the customer unhappiness which he provided despite using a brand to invite customers, and for course correction

                          I have given my macbook to fix a issue which TooTodo fix few months ago...I have given to Neeladri road, electronics city, bangalore branch.. Initially they told that they need to replace battery to fix the earlier problem so they charge that ..When I claim that I didnt gave permission to change the battery they got furious
                          For last 1 month they are not returning the my macbook. 2 weeks ago somelady named Jyoti told me she will send next day .. since then almost everyday I am goimg to the shop but they are not giving and lady is telling me next day each time I asked her.. Lady's tone was also threatening. She is telling she is from head office and without her nothing will move.
                          I never faced this kind of bad behaviour from anyone.. I have all the chat history also.
                          I want it back quickly. Please help.

                            Last week I gave my samsung mobile for changing my display, they told to give original display with three month warrenty, after a week the display got shattered and when we ask for a claim they say that it's a phisical damage. It's just like cheating customer, we have spend 6000 rs for that phisical damage. Why they are so pathetic, in providing the products which is defective. Bharathi Nagar, velachery branch

                              Hi team, i have replaced my one plus 6 back panel in your store at new thippasandra one week back and charged me ₹2600, i have not received the bill yet and when ever i ask for the bill the person says will be sent in 5 mins /10 mins never sent out the bill and its very bad to do this for a customer evern after repetitive reminds.

                              So can you please reimburse my amount which i have paid for replacement ASAP.

                                Dear Sir,

                                I am very much upset with the service of Totoodo Mobile Service Centre. Recently I have given for Changing the display of Oppo A5s mobile. They have given it. But within 3-4 days it started breaking... In some areas it is coming out in small pieces. They have cheated me. Either it is a substandard material or of cheaper quality. I have paid Rs. 3, 600 which is price of original display.
                                Since they are organised player, instead of service center I have given there. The people at this service center are non responsive. They are giving silly reasons.

                                Kindly share this with all customers.

                                Bad service. Irresponsibility. Never worried about customer. In front of me one more customer has blasted them. They are minting money like anything in the name of service. It does not looks like they are organised players.

                                  I have given my sony Xperia xa ultra dual for display at whitefield varthur road yesterday and I didn't receive bill[protected] from the store.
                                  On[protected] again there was problem with the display touch was not working.so I have visited the store again and he told that 50% refund as he could not fix the display.
                                  My concern is as the display is not fixed and I'm facing the loss of other 50%
                                  I was suppose to receive the refund today but when asked there was a rude behavior from your the employee and extending the date to Monday.
                                  Request you to help me on this issue.

                                    I gave my pixel 3a at Chennai, velacherry center to replace the display. They have asked 9300 rs and said it is the original display and offered a 30 days warranty too. But exactly after 2 weeks the display went off. The phone is still functional, but the display is gone. I gave back the phone to the service center, and now they're saying, this is due to a physical damage caused by me and it wont be covered under warranty.
                                    Im still fighting with them for replacement. I dont know what to do.

                                    NEVER EVER GO TO THIS SHOP.

                                    I was fed up fighting with this cheaters and decided to send my device to Google for original parts replacement. I sent a mail to google. In the next 48 hours they had my phone picked up, and the very next day they sent me a quote to replace my damaged parts, which is 5500 rs. ORIGINAL GOOGLE SPARE PARTS. thats half of the price these robbers have looted me.

                                    A costly lesson learnt finally. If you have a premium device and if its damaged, never go to the local store. NEVER. EVER. Please send it to the authorised service center. Sometimes they charge you less even than the fake service centers.

                                      I went to jayanagar Totoodo service station on 09th Jan 21 for replacement of iphone7 Battery. I have been charged 3000 rupees and said the battery has been replaced. However while I was in shop, the battery was draining fast after replacement. when i checked Fayaz said that we have boosted it and once you charge completely it will be fine. After reaching home, i charged to 100% and just watching Fb for 30 minutes drained the battery to 50% and i recharged again and the battery life is really less. just within 1 hour of charging it came down to 65%. I am extremely disappointed with service and not sure if the battery has been really replaced. I feel i am being cheated.

                                      next day I took the phone again to them and they said need to observe and kept the phone for 8 hours, it was charging but when i started using it used to drain battery in just 1 hour. Called fayaz again and he said he will get back to me but he never called. Finally I had to sell my phone and buy a new one, as after replacment battery got drained in 1 hr, compared to which it was working for 4-5 hrs.

                                      Another thing is I took a look late in night that bill is stating as Iphone 7U2 IC, but its not mentioned as battery. he has just written as battery in pen.

                                      very bad customer service and extremely unprofessional work. Never recommend anyone to this store .

                                        Hi sir. I had visited Totoodo service center located at RBI layout, J P Nagar 7th phase Bangalore for mobile display issue. On preliminary check the Technician named Mr.Barkath informed that the display is not turning on and need to be replaced. Before visiting Totoodo i had a check with the OnePlus Exclusive authorised service center located at brigade road and got the same response as the display need to replaced and they would charge 8500+GST. To reduce the expenses i visited Totoodo and got my original display replaced at 7200rs. When i visited Totoodo to collect my device i found the display brightness was very dull and the clarity of videos and pictures look very very very bad. I collected the device and checked for all display functionality whole night but to my bad luck the display was not a original LED display. For instance the video clarity of 4K resolution were delivering quality as low as 240p. Also observed greenish tints at the corners. Then i had to visit again Totoodo service and complained regarding the issue. The technician addressed the issue and told that he would send the device to the head office located at Jayanagar Bangalore and would get it rectified in a day or two. It took a long week to get the work done, that too on multiple calls to the service center. This time the defective fake display was replaced with another display with better illumination. Again i collected back my device home and did all checks. To my bad luck i observed the display was delivering unclear and blurry in the background of videos. I cross checked it to verify and confirm the issue for 3 to 4 days, but the issue didn't resolve. I had to visist the service again and had to explain the issueyo Mr. Barkath. The technician had to explain the same issue to another great technician who without checking told that it is a mother board issue. For your kind notice if the issue was with the mother board why was not checked during first replacement of display. Further on my insistence they hesitantly took up the issue and escalated to the head office. After 3days of rigorous research from the Head office they came to a conclusion of mother board issue as said by the second great technician. Finally i had to take back the device and got it checked with the OnePlus Exclusive authorised service center. As expected the Exclusive service center technician told that display replaced from Totoodo is not a genuine LED diplay but a fake LCD and would not provide any assistance to the third party display. Please do help me in this regard to get refund of my hard earned money.
