My number is [protected]. I had made an online payment of rs/- 588 on 27th jul 2017 against my postpaid bill generated on my airtel site. I got a message from airtel that the payment had been failed. The message was " payment failed : your recent transaction for airtel mobile number : [protected], amount - rs. 588.0 and txn id[protected] has failed. Please click on below link to try again. http://pay.airtel.in/red/r/40c02542.
Between two days till today 29 jul 2017 i checked my bank online passbook and found amount of rs. 588.00 had been withdrawn on 27 jul 2017 but the amount hadn't been returned back to the account. As per communication provided by airtel it should had been returned back to respective bank account.
Then i called airtel customer caren today morning and they replied payment already been made!!!
My question why the wrong feedback message was sent to the customer that the payment had failed and they asked customer to try again to make payment???!!!
Why the correction hadn't been made in further sms if we might consider it was a technical fault? Was this information helpful? |
