I am use tata sky hd and the set top box is not working. I raised the complaint with customer care and they technician will visit home for inspection is set top box and if it not working then he will replace it.
Cost of replacing set top box is rs. 400 and inspection and installation charges is rs. 150.
Since the set top box is not working, i told them there is no need to do any inspection, i will come to tata sky office to handover old set top box and take the new one by paying box charges.
Tata sky is not agreeing for this, they want me to pay extra rs. 150 for installation but why one should pay extra money just for connecting 3 wires, which i can do for myself.
I hope necessary action will be taken against tata sky and other dth providers and rules should be set for such issue where the customer can do the installation for him self and the providers should not force them to pay extra charges. Was this information helpful? |
