Trai — fraudulent deduction from prepaid account by jio

It is general understanding that whether it is local, std or isd calls, billing will start only after the call is received from the other end. But in case of jio, billing of isd starts immediately after it starts ringing on the other phone.

This has not been mentioned anywhere and is against the accepted conventions and norms of the industry. Moreso, a fraudulent practice if done intentionally.

This has been informed to me after registering the complaint with jio 197.
