MakeMyTrip Pvt. Ltd. — Substandard hotel booked by Makemytrip

I have booked a package with MakeMyTrip at a cost of Rs.41,000/- including travel, hotel 2nights at Nathdwara & 3 nights at Mount Abu. The travel cost is approximately Rs.20,000/- and balance Rs.21,000/- on account of accommodation.

The accommodation arranged by MakeMyTrip at Nathdwara (Hotel Vrinda Nikunj instead of requested Hotel Vrinda) cost of Rs.1400/- per day (totalling to Rs.2800/- for 2 days). Also, at Mount Abu the hotel booked was Hotel Udaigarh and the tariff is Rs.3000/- perday before discount (generally they offer 50% discount during off-peak season).

The issue is both the hotels were substandard and makemytrip could have offered a better hotel at the charges they have levied. In fact, I stayed Nathdwara as per makemytrip booking but looking into the experience I had there I didn't stay in Hotel Udaigarh and intimated about my non-acceptance to hotel and makemytrip (This quality aspect has made me upset and I had to short-close my trip). subsequently I searched out another hotel (Hotel Hillock) and stayed there for 2 days @ Rs.5000/- per day which is actually lower than what is charged by MakeMyTrip.

My request is to refund the 3 days charges levied by MakeMyTrip.
