Tripfactory — Issues faced during Trip number : TFN00Z6ZZWA

This complaint is with reference to the trip we had taken with Tripfactory with reference number : TFN00Z6ZZWA
This trip covered Dwarka, Somnath, Gir forest and Diu. The booking and the itenary were finalized in October mid for this trip from our end.

We were assigned an executive to guide us with the bookings initially, who seemed to have no knowledge about what he was suggesting to the customer.
He did not put his efforts to understand our requirements and come up with best places of stay. Rather we had to do a research on place of stay and suggest him to book it.

1. Issue with club Mahindra at Dwarka : Tripfactory had shared a voucher for our 2 night accommodation at Club Mahindra upon full payment for the trip. But when we used the reference number to check with Club Mahindra, Dwarka they confirmed our booking was only for one night. When we checked with Tripfactory, they said not to worry an it was internal and would get sorted out eventually. But when we landed in Club Mahindra also, they said it was booked only for one night. Again we called up Tripfactory Bangalore office to sort it out. Later in the night Club Mahindra confirmed the 2nd night stay was confirmed. This caused a lot of time spent in co-ordinating with Tipfactory, their seller and Club Mahindra and drained us completely. We could not peacefully go for the darshan. We just had to think of where would we be stranded the next day, as the crowd was too high in Dwarka due to peak season.

2. Issue in Fern Residency, Somnnath : The Tripfactory executive mentioned to us verbally that our rooms at Fern Residency had been upgraded and we would be given the upgraded rooms on arrival. But when we checked in, they did not upgrade it, but given what was agreed in the itenary booking. When we called back the executive at Tripfactory, he told he would get back in 5 mins, but never got back on this issue. We had to go with what was given, though we were eligible for upgraded rooms. Either the executive shouldn't have mentioned the upgrade or guided us correctly on getting the upgraded rooms. We felt so cheated with this behaviour of Tripfactory.

3. Sasan Gir, Devaliah jeep safari - We were assured Devaliah Jeep safari booking for 28th Dec evening and amount was collected as part of booking. When we made the final payment, he assured he would share the voucher in a day which was on 21st Dec. But we kept on calling Tripfactory and the standard answer was we get back in 5 mins. But no response from their end. We were adviced to take a stay in Gir, as we wouldn't be able to come out of forest in the evening after the devaliah safari. This was the only reason we had to stay in Gir (Gir Vanvaso) Spending close to 20, 000 for the stay. But we were not provided ticket till last minute and late at 4pm on 28th Dec, they tell us they will try to arrange open jeep safari for next morning (which was also cheating). We finally took a 30 min bus safari which was totally useless and we had to spend a night in the forest resort just to have this bad experience. This was the heights of cheating. And you can see their telegram group, every time, they put a response saying everything will be taken care as per schedule. We were so cheated in this place also. We could have saved a night stay which was quite expensive at Gir and overall 1 day of our travel if we knew Devaliah safari is not available.

Overall, Tripfactory cheated us once the payment was done. They waited for the trip to start and pushed all the blame on the seller. Why would end customer like us be bothered about whats happening between Tripfactory and their seller internally?!!! We go to such travel agencies only to have a hassle free trip. If that is not assured, why are they even running such as organization. We have learnt our lesson from this trip, but we would want Tripfactory to refund the stay in Gir and devaliah safari in full and also compensation for the mental torture we have undergone in talking to Tripfactory at Dwarka and Somnath during our stay.
