[Resolved] Tvs Motor Company — abs issue apache rtr 200 4v 2.0 race edition | |||
I purchased a apache rtr 200 v4 2.0 racer edition in august of 2019, and having issues with its abs since september 2019, the sensor will never go off & was also able to feel the difference while braking since it was working fine the first month. Have taken it to the service center thrice, first they said that i have to clean the sensor if there is dust it won't work, second time they said that there was a error and they removed it, the third time i called tvs customer support and filed a complaint and took the bike to the service center the checked and said that they have replaced the abs pump (That was what i was told) and changed the brake oil and charged me rs.200 for break oil and said that everything else is free. Rode the bike for a couple of kms and informed the service center people that the abs display light in the console is working but the abs is not, and they are trying to convince me saying that if the display light works abs will also work, i did try to explain them that abs is not working but in vain. I tried riding other abs bikes as well as another apache 200 rtr, i was able to feel the difference when abs works, but i am not able to feel it in my bike. (But it worked fine for the first month) And the people in tvs service centers are not equipped nor trained which they agree themself, saying only couple of days of training was given to them and only one person from the service center has been trained. And also told me that they fear the fi version more that the carb version, and fi is going to be a big headache for them. I am riding a apache rtr 200 4v 2.0 abs edition (Without abs) for past 2500kms. Don't know where to take it to nor who to report it to. Make your decision wisely, & choose the right bike everyone. Dec 16, 2019 Complaint marked as Resolved TVS customer support, contacted me in 48hrs, and did take the the bike back to the service center. The issue was resolved by the service center technicians. TVS Motor Company customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||

I have complained about the foot rester to fix properly as it was loose from the 2nd service itself..
After multiple complaints the issue was not fixed, now they are saying that part has to be replaced.
I was not informed about this earlier..
